Everything was perfect!! The steak, sides, location, ambiance, and service were are exceptional. I couldn’t recommend the place enough. I only got our server’s name Jennifer, but she and the whole team were fantastic. Definitely eat here, and tip your servers extra for their excellent service!

Food was delicious apart from the Chicken Liver Crustini which was an aquire taste and not very well presented. Service was slow and we felt slightly neglected. we also did not get the 30% discount.

One of the best meals we had during our 19 day trip all over Italy. Volo was simple a perfect experience. Ambiance and service were just great, but it was really the simple, but perfect meal that we enjoyed the most. We got a traditional pasta/Peccorino Cheese dish prepared at the table, a Florentine Steak and Pistachio Tiramisu. All were perfectly prepared and delicious and it was just an excellent dining experience. They are new and don't have the reputation some of the more established places do in Firenze, buy we are serious foodies and we highly recommend this dining opportunity

Simply spectacular. The quality of the food was incredible: the best Florentine steak I've ever eaten. The staff was also incredible: friendly, attentive, and willing to give good advice. Without a doubt, Il Volo is worth a visit!

I had ribollita and my friend had tortelli mugellani. The dishes were well presented and tested good. Adeguate portions. The service was attentive, slightly formal. The hall is a big circular hall so the ambient noise can be perceived but it wasn't too loud and the tables not too close one another.

This is a must-visit restaurant when in Firenze! Steak was cooked to perfection and the tagliolini was to die for. As an American with pretty sparse Italian skills, they managed to serve me and attended to my every need! Don't worry, they speak English too. Super friendly staff that is really good at their service. Really recommend this restaurant if you are in the area! Like 5 mins walking from the station Santa Maria Novella.

The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The tagliatelle pasta with wild boar was everything I was hoping for and the antipasti of spinach with gorgonzola sauce was surprisingly delicious. I would definitely go back.
