The service was top notch! The food was absolutely amazing! I had the beef fillet with porcini mushrooms and the truffle risotto. Husband had the risotto and the veal. Just delicious!! Would definitely go back!!

The truffle risotto was amazing. It paired well with their Chianti house wine. The steaks looked incredible but we didn’t order one. The staff was great.

The food was great. The service was at the same level as expected. Very well design of dining room, perfect tables and chairs… good wine from the region. We had several dishes, my dish was the pasta with fresh truffles, it was indeed wonderful.

Loved the interior and the space coming in. Not overly crowded with to many tables . The food was spor on and decent sizes served. Our visitors knowledgeable and really friendly. I strongly recommended this restaurant. Our best dinner in the city. We will be back next time out traveling takes us to this beautiful city.

The experience, service, presentation, and taste of the steak and pasta was outstanding. The Chianina steak (for two) was awesome. We had a great time after a walking tour of Florence. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Wee thought the food was wonderful. My husband loved the spaghetti and clams. We liked it so much so came back 2 days later. The waiters were great. When we asked them to call us a taxi, the waiter chased one down for us.

We visited two days in a row, and were delighted by the overwhelming hospitality, the delicacy of the food, and the selection of wines.The location is quiet, a little far from the tourist areas, and the food is delicious Tuscan cuisine.

This restaurant was so good on so many levels, I went 3 times while in Florence! In particular, the Salad Caprese and the Filet of beef with pecorino sauce. OMG….delicious!!

The Florentine steak was delicious. Cooked to perfection as we had asked.

The restaurant was completely empty, server was sitting on the patio, the interior and furniture was old and needs refreshing.

Everything was perfect!! The steak, sides, location, ambiance, and service were are exceptional. I couldn’t recommend the place enough. I only got our server’s name Jennifer, but she and the whole team were fantastic. Definitely eat here, and tip your servers extra for their excellent service!

Food was delicious apart from the Chicken Liver Crustini which was an aquire taste and not very well presented. Service was slow and we felt slightly neglected. we also did not get the 30% discount.

One of the best meals we had during our 19 day trip all over Italy. Volo was simple a perfect experience. Ambiance and service were just great, but it was really the simple, but perfect meal that we enjoyed the most. We got a traditional pasta/Peccorino Cheese dish prepared at the table, a Florentine Steak and Pistachio Tiramisu. All were perfectly prepared and delicious and it was just an excellent dining experience. They are new and don't have the reputation some of the more established places do in Firenze, buy we are serious foodies and we highly recommend this dining opportunity
