If you’re coming here to get the table with the view of the gondolas, don’t just reserve a table- make it clear that you want to sit on the balconies- otherwise they will give a table in the main seating area (which is not that big, and not at all impressive, I would even go as far as to say that it lacks any character compared to the advertised pretty balcony pictures)

Food was mediocre, and the prices were definitely higher than they should be. As for the whole vibe, it wasn’t anything special, wouldn’t recommend unless you want to pay a lot for mid food

Just a turist place in cenice, the food is overpriced and we had a bad ending.. they told us that the service is not included and we have to give an additional 20€-30€ for service

The Staff were so kind and happy and the food was amazing. We had meat and fish dishes and both were great. House white was very nice too. Atmosphere was nice and relaxed but still felt like a premium experience. Thank you all!

I have eaten here three times now and it never disappoints, the food is great. In a city full of tourist traps, it's always nice to find a true Italian restaurant. Besides... if you are lucky you might find space in one of the tables by the window right next to one of the channels, what else can you ask for?

I went by myself and was able to get a table by the window. You can book a table ahead but must go early and be willing to wait to get nice view unless you go in big group. Staffs were lovely and accommodating.

We had requested a table on the canal and they had it waiting for us! This was our last night in Venice and it was so special! The food was excellent and so was the service! Highly recommend!

The ambiance of this spot right on the canal was the main reason I choose this restaurant for our first evening in Venice and the views absolutely did not disappoint! We were excited to try some local cuisine - so we opted for a fish course. The food - while not bad was also not much to write home about. For reference, our favorite part of the meal was the roasted potatoes served as a side to the main dish. Staff was kind and helpful, but I would not list Ristorante Sempione as a must stop for cuisine. That being said, it would be a great spot to grab drinks or dessert with a canal-side view!

The food was great, the waiters very very pleasant and with recent venice prices the bill was surprisingly pleasant also.

Really cute resturaunt, service was great, but it was really expensive for the quality of food. I had the cheese and meat platter and the cheese left much to be desired and lasagna lacked texture. Also if you weren’t seated near a window then the general aesthetic wasn’t the best, however thankfully we got a good seat because of booking in advance

The service was fast but little bit too fast, came to take plates as soon as ready. The food was okay nothing special but not bad. THE PLACE THO WAS AMAZING SO IT WAS 100% WORTH IT!

The food was superb. I ordered the Tuna Tartare and the sea food risotto. My mom had the branzino with vegetables, and my aunt the seafood soup. At the end, we got complimentary limoncello shots. Fine dining ambiance with upscale decor and quiet music. They treated us with respect at this location

This was an amazing dinner. If I could rate it higher than 10/10 I would. We got a table beside the canal and it was absolutely MaGICAL. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Would totally recommend. Make a reservation (especially if you want a table beside the window) as it was busy. Thank You for a wonderful evening!!

This is a must when visiting venice! The view and ambiance are delightful and the food was exquisite and there was something for everyone.

I will share my experience with Ristorante Sempione yesterday. I have booked table from 3 weeks and yesterday when we went, they wasn’t aware that we have reservation. Also, the viral terrace area isn’t working. Just to have in mind when you are booking a table through The fork app.

We were welcomed with very happy staff. I was welcomed by name to our nice table next to the canal and the food was amazing! Great service, great authentic feel to the place and great food! Also, I mentioned that I would propose to my now fiancé, unfortunately I did not did not ask the question yet, but I could tell the staff were ready to give us an extra special night for the occasion. Things didn’t go to plan that day and the staff were quick to notice and keep the secret. Thank you so much for that!!
