This restaurant had an amazing atmosphere and the waiters were very polite and welcoming. This is a great place for a romantic evening. However, the food was not the best - it was good, but not something spectacular. This restaurant has a great selection of wines.

6.5/10This was our second trip this week - the first was great in every way. However..... On our return visit, the main courses were bad. One of us had a lasagane, which was served cold. They quickly swapped it, but the replacement, whilst seeming fine at the time had bad after effects. The other main was a Rib eye steak, which was mainly bone and gristle, although, to be fair, it was cooked correctly. But only about 3 ounces of actual steak. Such a shame as we'd otherwise be recommended it highly

10/10Lovely quality authentic cooking. The waitress was attentive, friendly and had a lovely personality. Food was faultless, the tartare to start was perfect as were the main dishes. We had the Aglione and truffle pasta dishes and for mine, steak for one and truffle steak with sides and it was all cooked perfectly with the best flavours. Dessert also lovely and not to be missed!

9/10The service and ambience were excellent. The food was good, but not over the top. We ordered a bottle of wine, which they didn't have. The sommelier came out with another bottle of wine, explained it, and we accepted it. Unfortunately, it was not what we had hoped for and was well overpriced for the quality. We've had numerous bottles of wine on our month-long travels, and this was the most expensive and by far our least favorite.

7/10Party of two. It's sad to see how this restaurant, once a pinnacle of Florence cuisine, is now just a tourist trap. Disastrous (and altogether foreign) service: inappropriately informal (everyone addressing us with the equivalent of "hey bros"), we've been sat on a drenched cushion and got pants wet behind (I hope that was water): had to ask to change the table and not a single "sorry" came along. Waited 25 minutes to order. The Fork discount not applied. Paid by the Fork app the right amount, and got a waitress on the street running and shouting at us because we allegedly didn't pay (clearly, we had). Doesn't matter how peculiar the ambiance or decent the food. This is now simply another venue for tourist (which were, in fact, the only crowd around).

7.5/10I found in my soup the onion peel. I used antibacterial wet napkin and put it on the table. The waiter didn’t take it away. So, I took it with me. My soup was ready 10 minutes after order. So, it was already prepared before my arriving.

10/10The decoration and atmosphere in the restaurant was unforgettable. Surrounded by beautiful art work and lighting. The food was delicious. The beef stew, pasta and cold meat selection was a great choice. All the food tasted fresh and it was obvious how much effort and love is put into the cooking. Definitely a memorable place.

4/10This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. Two people in our party ordered the T-bone steak for two. The meat was inedible because it was too tough to chew. Another person's meat was full of gristle. When the issues were mentioned to the person at the checkout place, he said other customers had reported the same issues. We expected better from a meal at that price point.
