The food is really good I have nothing to say. We loved it. However the service is really slow, they don’t pay attention to tables, they are quite nonchalant. The restaurant was almost empty so that’s not even a reason for not paying attention…

This restaurant is a really good spot for a family meal in Rome. The service was top-notch, and the place had a friendly, welcoming feel. You will see a mix of locals and tourists eating there – always a good sign. It seemed like the locals were really into the seafood, so that's probably a safe bet. What stood out was how creative the food was. They take classic dishes and give them a fresh twist, and everything we had was well-made and looked great. They also have an interesting wine list. Definitely try a Lazio red wine; it's local and tastes great with the food. Overall, it's a solid choice for a good meal with a nice atmosphere in Rome.

9.5/10This place is in the Michelin guide and it's obvious why. The food is truly outstanding ,authentic, Italian classics and the olive oil and house wine is great. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. A little disappointing that most of the diners seemed to be American rather than Italian but then again, this is near the Vatican. Overall, really enjoyed our meal.

2/10Server did not bring menus or offer water for about 15-20 minutes after we were seated (with a reservation). Another eternity to take our food order. Appetizer was bland. Main courses were brought out in a staggered manner—I received my pasta long before my partner. My food was cold by the time her dish was served. The carbonara was not good. There is al dente and then there is serving the pasta nearly uncooked and hard with a crunch in every bite. Way too much sauce. Disappointing experience.

I came for the menu Bon Ricordo, but was disappointed that everyone need to order a prix fixe menu. it was just too much food for everyone and unnecessary. some flexibility would be nice!

10/10We had a great afternoon lunch at Romane, a short walk from The Vatican following our morning tour. We shared a bottle of Chianti while enjoying the lunch special of lasagna and rigatoni in osso buco sauce. Reasonable prices, quality food, casual atmosphere and friendly service made for a memorable meal.

Good pasta, but sadly they used some bad parmeggiano that I guess was not freshly grated to say the least. The cheese totally dominated and covered all other flavors. I’m sorry to say, but this was a disappointment.

First of all service was not good at all. We were the only guests at the restaurant and got totally ignored for some reason, to the point we had to call for the waiter ourselfs to order something. Weird remix music playing in the background def not fitting the italian cuisine experience. The food was extremely mid if not below average. We checked pictures and reviews of previous guests and it looked nothing like ours. I would say it looked like they dumbed half glass of water to our pasta at the end of preparing a dish to the point that it became a soup. At the end we got charged 3euro per guest (6 euro in that case) for the bread that we didn’t even touch. And was thrown at our table in random paper bag without asking and saying a word about it. I asked the waiter if he could remove it from our receipt, he wasn't happy but he did take it back. 2 stars for affordable prices and big portions. Definitely not worth trying this restaurant overall bad experience

9.5/10Excellent food and great value for money. Very popular with Romans so booking necessary. Portions are generous so you need to be hungry if you opt for all five courses. Never tasted a better panna cotta nor better rigatone alla carbonara and my son raved about the spaghettoni all'amatriciana.

We had an incredible experience. The amatriciana was one of the best pastas I’ve ever had and the fettuccine and broccoli was also very good. Manuel went above and beyond to accommodate a special request and provided the best customer service of our trip. Highly recommend especially after a long day at the Vatican!

7/10The slow cooked turkey leg was delicious. The eggplant parm was very tasty but served luke warm. The server had a bit of an attitude from the start so I was afraid to send the cold dish back. Maybe doesn't like American tourists? We observed her being friendly with locals. I think the restaurant has potential but there are better places to eat in Rome. Honestly, disappointing.
