7/10The food was good, though too salty, which we usually don’t find that the food in Italy is typically too salty. We had to get the attention of servers several times because they weren’t attentive. We didnt seem to have one server for our table; more like all servers were serving everyone but we had to flag them down to get things. The chocolate cake was incredible.

The food is really good I have nothing to say. We loved it. However the service is really slow, they don’t pay attention to tables, they are quite nonchalant. The restaurant was almost empty so that’s not even a reason for not paying attention…

This restaurant is a really good spot for a family meal in Rome. The service was top-notch, and the place had a friendly, welcoming feel. You will see a mix of locals and tourists eating there – always a good sign. It seemed like the locals were really into the seafood, so that's probably a safe bet. What stood out was how creative the food was. They take classic dishes and give them a fresh twist, and everything we had was well-made and looked great. They also have an interesting wine list. Definitely try a Lazio red wine; it's local and tastes great with the food. Overall, it's a solid choice for a good meal with a nice atmosphere in Rome.

9.5/10This place is in the Michelin guide and it's obvious why. The food is truly outstanding ,authentic, Italian classics and the olive oil and house wine is great. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. A little disappointing that most of the diners seemed to be American rather than Italian but then again, this is near the Vatican. Overall, really enjoyed our meal.

2/10Server did not bring menus or offer water for about 15-20 minutes after we were seated (with a reservation). Another eternity to take our food order. Appetizer was bland. Main courses were brought out in a staggered manner—I received my pasta long before my partner. My food was cold by the time her dish was served. The carbonara was not good. There is al dente and then there is serving the pasta nearly uncooked and hard with a crunch in every bite. Way too much sauce. Disappointing experience.

I came for the menu Bon Ricordo, but was disappointed that everyone need to order a prix fixe menu. it was just too much food for everyone and unnecessary. some flexibility would be nice!

10/10We had a great afternoon lunch at Romane, a short walk from The Vatican following our morning tour. We shared a bottle of Chianti while enjoying the lunch special of lasagna and rigatoni in osso buco sauce. Reasonable prices, quality food, casual atmosphere and friendly service made for a memorable meal.
