9.5/10The food was awesome! The service was incredibly attentive and it's a cool space. There wasn't a 4.3 or 4.5 rating so I said excellent but it was probably an A- not A+

7/10Three of us order the Chicken Cacciatore and were disappointed in being served 3, small chicken legs. The sauce was delicious, just a very small portion.

9/10Service was more than perfect. Appetizer and first course were amazing, second course and dessert good. Wine was excellent and price/quality -ratio very, very good.

10/10We had an incredible experience. The amatriciana was one of the best pastas I’ve ever had and the fettuccine and broccoli was also very good. Manuel went above and beyond to accommodate a special request and provided the best customer service of our trip. Highly recommend especially after a long day at the Vatican!

7/10The slow cooked turkey leg was delicious. The eggplant parm was very tasty but served luke warm. The server had a bit of an attitude from the start so I was afraid to send the cold dish back. Maybe doesn't like American tourists? We observed her being friendly with locals. I think the restaurant has potential but there are better places to eat in Rome. Honestly, disappointing.

5.5/10Initial greeting was unfriendly. Waiter initially insisted we both had to have the special menu. After some discussion and in a displeased tone he said he would let just one of us order the special menu - which is what we wanted and expected. Then when it came time to receive the plate that came with the special menu, he told us he had no more plates and provided one from another restaurant. We were very disappointed as that was the main reason for visiting the restaurant. Eventually he found a plate but it was chipped in two places. So we ended up with a plate from elsewhere and a chipped plate from Romane. Did not match the standard of other Buon Ricardo restaurants we have visited. 😞

5.5/10A little bit of a disappointing experience. The female waiter wasn't impolite, she just didn't care and wasn't very forthcoming and friendly. Futhermore she seemed annoyed of our few questions to the winecard, that consisted only of natural wines as she informed us. Finally she recommended a white wine to our chosen menu. Not a great succes. Too much natural taste..... Generally the food was okay. Fresh seasonal ingredients, well prepared, abundant portions and good taste. But not worth a journey. Similar quality is easily available at other restaurants. Next time we visit Rome, Romané won't be our top priority.
