10/10This was probably the best meal we’ve had in Portugal so far. It was amazing! The Black rice was amazing the black pork with mashed potatoes was so tender and delicious and the tenderloin with port sauce was also tender and delicious. The staff was very nice. Highly recommend this really cute restaurant!

10/10Cozy restaurant with only a few seats. Sets a great ambience for wine tasting while eating authentic portuguese dishes. We had the bife com ovo e batatas fritas and a bacalhau à bras with the soup of the day. Definitely recommend and absolutely need to reserve your table.

Oh my gosh! This restaurant was amazing in Sintra! We stopped to have lunch on our hike between Castles. Our service was great and the staff was so kind! We were wanting to try traditional Portuguese food and this place was great. Our server (who we believe was the manager) offered us cheese that was made the day before! We've never had it so fresh! We had the garlic shrimp, croquettes, soup of the day, and mushrooms (the local way to make)! She also recommended wines and it was awesome. Most memorable food/experience we had in Portugal!

+3A very cosy spot, hidden in the heart of the Sintra villa center. One might be deceived by its looks on the outside, being sandwiched in between a local church and an information center, though upon entry you are welcomed into a tavern-inspired, warm and hearty restaurant, that serves nothing but perfect, comfort dishes to suit any taste. Will definitely go back, whenever possible!

10/10This adorable little place was the best meal we have had so far in Portugal. The atmosphere was amazing. We ended up getting a number of tapas and dessert and everything was so delicious. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the ambiance and the food. The portions are very large so come hungry. The quality was excellent and there are lots of options on the menu. I suggest you make reservations because it is a small, busy restaurant.

10/10We selected this restaurant based on gluten free options for our son. The menu clearly indicates the main allergens which made meal selection easy. The food (gluten and gluten free) was excellent! The food was very flavourful and the portion sizes were good. We loved the food and the service so much, we returned to dine here the 2nd day. After 5 days in Portugal, this has been our best dining experience so far. This is not a large restaurant and a reservation is recommended.

9.5/10Everything we had in this rustic and intimate spot was delicious. My husband and I split a number of dishes including the black ham, the tempura octopus and the duck margaret. Everything was delicious.

10/10Amazing dinner. Perfect start for our Portugal trip. Small and intimate, service was excellent. Dinner was amazing…if I could have gotten away with it, I would have licked my plate. Dessert was sublime! Dinner for 3 with drinks and dessert….80 euros. Very reasonable.

+3The food is simply amazing. Tasty and fresh bread, the codfish was delicious, the dark rice simply great and the desserts were just the cherry on top of the cake. Also, people were just super sympathetic and ambience was quite enough to talk.

This place is like a hidden gem within Sintra. After reviewing the menu and finding out it was by reservation, we immediately booked an available time during our week stay. The food was phenomenal, the wine excellent and the service outstanding. The grilled black pork belly tapas was outstanding, and the Black Rice Cuttfish I had as a main was one of the best dishes I had while visiting. It was so good we booked a second evening there with some friends towards the end of our stay.
