10/10Best dinner we had in Venice. From the greeting when we arrived to the wait staff everyone in the restaurant was extremely friendly. Must try their signature "venice inspired" dessert!

7.5/10The food lived up to the hype. Sadly, the service was awful. The wine steward was clearly irritated that we didn’t choose his €240 recommendation and actually made a face when we ordered a €130 bottle as if we were unworthy to be there. The waiter couldn’t be bothered to explain things or stick around or come back. We were left with no water and no wine for the 2nd half of our meal. Had it not been for the nice guy from Senegal, I don’t know if we would have even ever been able to pay the bill and leave. The hostess, the chef’s mom, was also nice. But the two younger men who handled the wine and the meal should find other careers.

One of the best food experiences in Venice, raw fish dishes were especially delicious! Waiters were incredibly friendly and all service was perfect!

6.5/10We were given a slightly cold welcome when we arrived however we were given a nice table. We shared a starter salad which was delicious. When my main course arrived on a cold plate we were told my partners meal was comjngvery shortly. 10 minutes later it arrived. My main course which cost over 30 pounds was stone cold by the time we had our full irfee

10/10We had a wonderful dinner with our 3 children. The staff was warm and welcoming and the food was delicious. The pizza was really good and some of the best we have had in all of Italy. Make a reservation because they get booked up and can’t always take walk-in.

5.5/10We sat first outside but moved then inside because of the noise of the kitchen. The starter with a salad and the tuna was OK. But the two pasta dishes we ordered (carbonara and linguine) were terrible. Fatty, too salty and bad tasting. It really spoiled our evening. How can this happen in Italy to not manage to cook decent pasta. I would fire the cook if I were the owner. We did not need to pay for the dishes and they offered replacement but we refused since we lost trust in this cook.

8/10Very pleasant meal in nice surroundings with attentive staff. We had visited 4 years ago and the return visit this time lived up to expectations. The insalata Rosa Rossa was an excellent sharing starter and our 2 pasta specials were very tasty. We certainly intend to return on any future visit to Venice.

10/10I just love everything about the Rosa Rossa and the family who run it. The food is of a really high quality and the menu is both interesting and varied. Great value too. The fillet steak medallions were cooked perfectly and the atmosphere was perfect. My daughter’s first visit but we’ll come back many times in the years ahead. Thanks as ever, Darren

10/10The food was absolutely stunning. Not only did it taste fantastic it was very well presented. They have a good variety of food options not only serving pasta and pizza but also other traditional dishes like Vitello tonato. They also have the gluten free pizza option. Staff was very kind and professional! Definitely a place I highly recommend.

10/10The location was close to where we were staying, but I am so glad we went. The staff was very inviting and quickly moved us inside when a storm came. The food was delicious. An excellent evening out with the family.

9.5/10Outstanding!! I am gluten free and it is always great to find gluten free pizza and pasta. This was outstanding! The other three people in my group are not gluten-free and they enjoyed their food as well. I would definitely recommend Rosa Rossa. The atmosphere is warm and charming. I loved everything about this restaurant.

5.5/10When we arrived, there was some confusion about our reservation. Once they confirmed our party of 4, they sat us at a nice table. Not even 2 minutes after we sat down, they asked us to move to another table as there was some issue with the table they put us at. They put us in a far back tiny corner and we all felt very constrained. Three of our dishes came out quickly, but the fourth one took an additional 5 to 10 minutes to come out, which meant most of us were done eating before the other. Food was basic and nothing outstanding to mention (lasagna, ravioli, steak, and macaroni dish). The only thing worth ordering in the end, was the tiramisu, which was very good. Other than that, the staff felt rushed and we did not feel as though we would come back or recommend this restaurant to others.

9.5/10Excellent food. Would come back here again. Service was pretty good however at the end we asked to split the bill and had to get the manager to do this as they don’t like doing it.

10/10This place came highly recommended and it delivered in a big way. The gnocchi was incredible and the diavola pizza was delicious and not greasy (which I'm used to being from NY). We had a reservation but showed up 30 minutes earlier and were still able to be seated.

5.5/10Mushy prawns to start. Kitchen too arrogant to allow a request for simple pasta to accompany main course chicken cutlet (“That’s not how we eat it in Italy”) but serves €18 deep fried chicken & chips with tomato ketchup and no other garnish, as standard. Both boring and pretentious at the same time! We were humble and polite but not asked once how the food was. Staff friendly enough but there are better places to spend your time in Venice.

Hello, in italy where we have the best food in the world, you have to eat like we eat. If you go to India you can't ask a chicken curry without curry!!!!

9.5/10Excellent wine menu Cold meat sharing starter was another level, quite possibly the best I've tasted in a while. We ordered pizza and calzone which was very very nice, especially the calzone, just wish we were a bit more adventurous as the dishes we saw being brought out looked stunning. We will definitely be back

9/10We came here based on TripAdvisor reviews. The restaurant itself was very warm and intimate. Staff was good. Pizza choices were extensive and the one we ordered was enjoyable. Spaghetti Vongole was outstanding. We would come back.
