8.5/10Good French oysters with a German Riesling. Creamy shrimp croquettes. Rich herby half chicken with lovely mushrooms. Good French red bone wine. Baked pear dessert. On a Sunday afternoon the place was very quiet and only 1 member of staff for restaurant and bar area.

5.5/10We were ignored for half an hour before a server finally came. The famous whole chicken was half tasty - the dark meat was very good. The white was so dry that it wasn’t . Adding the oily sauce didn’t remedy that. The side of special potatoes was tasty, but smothered with a dressing that should have come on the side for dipping, thus maintaining the crispness of the potatoes… The restaurant is part of the Radisson Hotel, which should have set off a red flag. Hotel restaurants of large chains are not generally noted for gourmet fare.

5.5/10The service was extremely slow! It took forever to get just about anything there. The chicken that we ordered was actually quite tasty and the garlic bread was good, but my daughter ordered a steak and it was like rubber. It was so hard, she couldn’t chew it. We sent it back. The service was slow for pretty much everyone in the restaurant that night.

5/10Rotisse is made largely for business people, and a lot of people will be glad to hear that. It’s clean, quiet, and friendly. For me, however, if I’m eating in Brussels, I want to *know* I’m in Brussels. If you had dropped me here and told me I was in Springfield, Illinois, I would’ve believed you. The menu is composed of crowd-pleasers — nothing to insult anyone, nothing wrong with anything, and we walked away shrugging our shoulders.
