Never had Albanian food before, loved it. Mixes really well with the Italian kitchen. Not haute cuisine, but really good food. Service was fast and considerate. It was a bit quiet around 19:00 on a Thursday, but around 20:00 things livened up a bit.

This restaurant was fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious. The cozy, family-like atmosphere made the whole experience warm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Late review, but Rufus deserves it. We walked in at 9:30pm, the time you expect a restaurant to be tired, ready to close, and barely willing to host. Rufus was the opposite. We were welcomed like family. That warmth mattered more because my auntie and uncle were visiting the Netherlands, and Europe, for the first time. Their first late-night meal here could have been rushed or awkward. Instead, it became a beautiful memory. I think it was the owner who greeted us, and the hospitality felt real, not rehearsed. The room had a special energy. Other guests were smiling, relaxed, and chatting with the owner about the food and culture. We couldn’t help overhearing, and it made us excited before we even ordered. Then the food delivered. The lamb was amazing. We ordered lamb and lasagna, and every bite felt like comfort. Yes, it’s Albanian food, but the love in the cooking reminded me of home, even the Philippines. We’re definitely going back. Honestly, I’m tempted to go again soon.

We started with the caprese salad which was delicious- the seasonings were so delicious. We then had the tagliatelle which is one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. I asked the owner about it and he said it cooks for almost 48 hours! So much flavor! Fabulous service and top notch food! I highly recommend!
