9/10The entrance has steep stairs with no handrail. It was dangerous for me. The staff are friendly. The food was outstanding. I am glad that they recommended the pasta boiled in beet juice. There was a puddle of water next to the toilet that soaked my trousers. I reported it. An hour later the puddle was still there. Service was until the end. It took a while to get the dessert menu. Then I waited 25 minutes for dessert. It would have been nice if someone could have noticed and apologized or offered me coffee while I waited. They didn't offer coffee until after they served the confections at the very end. By then I had been there too long and didn't want to risk having to wait for coffee. I had trouble getting someone to bring me the check. No one asked me if I enjoyed my time. I didn't have a chance to complain until someone held the door open for me to leave. I don't know why fine restaurants like this stop paying attention to me after the main course.

+2we did meet Claudio Sadler 30 years ago. And we ate at their restraints many times. it's been a long time since we had dinner on his restaurant on "naviglio" so we wanted to give a try. It's in the center of Milan, a very elegant quarter. Location is modern, elegant and cared. Menu is serious and with not many courses, but decent. A plus is 'a la carte" that seems disappear din other trendy restaurants, today. Wine selection is good, even if I had to note wine list is present on a uglyy android tablet that connects to a local http server (I can see 192.18.x.y. in browser upper url bar..) BAD! Sommelier is a bit under starred restaurants lives we are accustomed. To sum up, a very good experience, as we are used at Clausio Sadler.

10/10Went for a special lunch. Was not disappointed, all of the fish dishes were amazing and I’ve never tasted Soy Sauce like that!!!

4/10A michelin star??? Only for a joke. I wonder who gave them the star. He is completely responsible for the reason we lose so much money to eat in this restaurant.... The food was bad!!!

8/10The food was mostly pleasant to the palate, but the "seared" seafood was so severely burned, the entire meal tasted like eating the contents of an ashtray. Excellent desserts.

10/10An excellent meal! Each dish was carefully constructed and presented with layered flavors and textures. The service was impeccable and unobtrusive. The wine pairings complimented each dish and featured many uncommon varietals.

10/10Our flight was delayed and we only got to the restaurant at 10:15 PM which was about when the kitchen was closed. The chef and the team were kind enough to accommodate us even if we were not with the proper dress code . they served us beautifully and accommodated our needs and waited for us to be less table to leave they were super nice. The Food was delicious. Great place highly recommended.

9.5/10Sadler was our 3rd Michelin star restaurant of our trip but by far the best. Having gone to Jules Verne and I Portici just days before. The staff was more knowledgeable and personable. Well balanced courses with more focus on flavor than ambiance. The sommelier was amazing with perfect parings and rare, small production wines. He even managed to pair a drink (not wine) with lemon sorbet.

7/10Not a single one of the five courses was at all memorable. None was particularly flavorful. Even at half the price we would not go back. Service, however, was what one expects at a Michelin one star.

For me, it is not good enough. The only thing I think is delicious and unforgettable is that the bread is crispy and soft. The fish is toooo old, although the sauce is rich in seasoning.

Staff is walking on the floor too much without clear purpose which makes the atmosphere less relaxed. Food is good in general. Wine list is presented in iPad but the navigation is not that easy. Perhaps change back to menu printing is more practical. Somm didn’t introduce wine by glass by pouring it directly.

9.5/10The Sadler was very impressive. From the moment my party arrived, we were greeted immediately and welcomed by Chef Sadler himself. It was great to have that interaction from someone of his accomplishments while at the start of dinner service. Food was wonderful, showing skill and restraint to present classic dishes with modern touches (we did the creative menu!). The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating to us, including my young daughter. Everything was delicious and I would highly recommend coming here. My only negative was that the Som seemed disappointed that only half our table of 6 did not do the wine pairing. He was visibly upset that the others did not indulge in the wine pairing as if he was insulted. The other half were not big drinkers and we literally just got off a plane 5 hours prior to dinner. The wine pairings were amazing though, so if you do drink please consider the pairing with the meal.

7/10I came alone for dinner after a long 13hr flight and was looking forward to a nice meal at Sandler. I decided on their pre fixed menu as it was highlighting some of the best creations this chef has made but it would have been good to know in advance that this would be a 3 hr plus commitment. By the end I was just taking very small bites and sips of each drink because I was getting so exhausted. On three separate occasions I asked for my check and when it finally came it was about 30 mins later. Prior to leaving the Resturant the main waiter came and asked me if I'd like a few more glasses of water before I left as if implying I was tipsy. If he was at all aware of me he would have noticed that I stopped drinking my drinks and started taking small bites of food several courses ago. I've been to many Michillen rated restaurant's and I have never had such lack of awareness from staff. And this was not just regulated to my experience either. I watched on several occasions that the wait staff put down the wrong dishes to 4 decorate customers. Going to a highly rated Resturant is supposed to be a great experience for the customers and not just a celebration of ingredients and the artistry of a chef. Although the food was an 8/10 I would never choose to go back here because of the waitstaff.

Words cannot explain the chef's amuse bouche…they were wonderful! Of course, it didn’t stop there! Our starters were the risotto with frog legs and the pasta with lamb and mint. Both were delicious! The breads melted in your mouth as did our main courses of sea bass baked in salt and the suckling pig were nothing short of exceptional. It didn’t stop there! Tiramisu and the petit fours

9/10The ambiance and the food quality and flavors were excellent but service lags. We asked for warm water a couple of times but in the 3 hrs and 30minutes that we were there, it never came. Our order of coffee was forgotten too

10/10When we entered the restaurant we could feel an amazing atmosphere, the design was welcoming and so was the staff. It took a bit of time for them to take our order, but once they did we started a wonderful experience with many unexpected treats. From that point everything was without fault, from the food that was both delicious and perfectly sized, to the service that took care of our every need and even helped one of us who began to feel a bit off due to reasons unrelated to the food. Overall, it was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had.

10/10The experience was unique and amazing at Sadler. We were greeted by Chef Sadler at the entrance, the sommelier made a welcome drink at the table, the service was perfect and the food creative playful and delicious. It is now my favorite culinary experience I've had so far in Milan

10/10Wonderful experience from start to finish. Tasting menu was creative, beautifully presented and most importantly delicious. Each course was just perfection. Our waiter was knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. The sommelier gave great suggestions and we couldn’t have been happier following his advice. Grazie mille to the entire staff including Chef Sadler for a memorable 50th birthday celebration! We can’t wait to come back!!
