The service was phenomenal. I received great wine suggestions. As well as, got to listen to opera from across the street. Plus, the cheesecake was the greatest cheesecake I have ever eaten. I can't wait to come here again.

I came with a friend to Madrid to bring in the New Year and we spent 140 USD for dinner at this restaurant. When we arrived, as we were asked to follow one of the staff to a table, she collected the coats of other customers and asked for us to follow her. As we waited for her to seat the others, one of the waitstaff yelled at my friend and I telling us to wait in the hallway. When we went out to the hallway, we were eventually seated and no one came for our coats like the other customers. There was little communication between the waiter and my table. Other tables were attended to with smiles and topped up wine, but we had to ask for things that the others were given such as water. When the waiter did pour our wine, he did it in a hurry and kept spilling it on the table. Other customers received New Years party favors and my table did not. After our last course and pretty much being not being treated as equally as the other customers, my friend and I decided to leave and go bring in the new year elsewhere. I am not sure why other customers where treated better but it left me feeling like I was being judged by my appearance and that my friend and I paid a lot of money to be treated poorly. I love the concept of the Basque restaurant but think the service was unacceptable. Please do better next time and treat all of your customers with care.

The new year's meal is nothing special at all, but very expensive. Also the first time I've been to a restaurant and been told to leave (you can only stay for an hour and a half for the new year's meal). Not a good atmosphere. Each course is brought you you immediately after you finish the previous course (just warmed up, probably in the microwave). The dessert "turrones artisanales" is just normal turrón you get from a supermarket... Una estafa...

Amateurish service. Waiters had no clue what they were serving. Food was mostly served lukewarm, except for meat. But by this time we were ready to leave. Price was exorbitant for what was served. Totally ruined our evening. Even the grapes they served were old.
