This was the worst experience I've ever had at a TheFork.com partner restaurant. Sagardi en Euskal Extra does not offer a TheFork.com discount. I only went there to use up some Yums points. I went there on a Tuesday night under a reservation. The restaurant is in the basement and it's primarily a tapas bar. Room was crowded/loud with a large group of beer/tapas customers. I was seated in the corner. I had the hake fish with sauteed green and a side of roasted potatoes. Fish was very undercooked. Raw and cold in the middle. Fish was flavorless. Skin was soggy. Waiter never returned to ask how the food was. Eventually I went to bar...paid the balance and left. I never plan to return. A very bad experience. Service/food/ambience all horrible.

The service was phenomenal. I received great wine suggestions. As well as, got to listen to opera from across the street. Plus, the cheesecake was the greatest cheesecake I have ever eaten. I can't wait to come here again.

The new year's meal is nothing special at all, but very expensive. Also the first time I've been to a restaurant and been told to leave (you can only stay for an hour and a half for the new year's meal). Not a good atmosphere. Each course is brought you you immediately after you finish the previous course (just warmed up, probably in the microwave). The dessert "turrones artisanales" is just normal turrón you get from a supermarket... Una estafa...

Amateurish service. Waiters had no clue what they were serving. Food was mostly served lukewarm, except for meat. But by this time we were ready to leave. Price was exorbitant for what was served. Totally ruined our evening. Even the grapes they served were old.

Inconsistent - the meat was excellent - the fish did not taste fresh - the seafood was average- the service was below average
