    The lamb was moist and cooked just right and melted in my mouth. The complimentary soup was delicious. The millefleu pastry could have been more flaky but the cream was delicious.

    We chose the 5 course tasting menu and it didn’t disappoint. The service was impeccable. The recommended wines were very nice and the good was amazing.

    It's more or less impossible to point out any specific memorable from our visit when everything was in perfection. But if I'm forced to I will highlight the owner and multi-artist Luigi who was the conductor behind the the wonderful atmosphere in the venue and at the same time ensured the delicious food we ate. If you are in Bellagio don't miss this pearl.

    Fabulous food ! Best of our trip to Bellagio and Lake Como! Owner/ Chef Luigi and his wife Camilla were precious and even came to Picked us up from Hotel Villa Serbollini and also brought us home after dinner. Amazing experience and food! Love their passion for life!

    Overall dissatisfied with the experience. The focus seemed to be more on presentation than the actual taste of the food. We did the seven course tasting menu and immediately regretted the decision after the first dish. The first dish was overwhelming fishy, the polenta and risotto were completely overpowered in taste by cheese. The food lacked creativity and flavor combination. Salice blu was our least favorite dining experience in Italy in our two weeks. I think the restaurant is overhyped and overpriced for what you actually get.

    Absolutely perfect! Late night birthday, thank you so much! The food was exceptional, as was the wine, and the service was perfect We'll be back without hesitation! Exceptional restaurant! Every dish, right up to dessert, was exceptional! The service and mood of the restaurant were equally exceptional.

    exceptional service, great wine, lovely ambiance. the steak was over cooked and the salmon was a bit too fishy but maybe we just ordered the wrong thing.

    Dear Joshua, thank you for your feedback. Salmon is wild, so it’s stronger than all you can eat salmon tartare. Beef sirloin is dry aged, so it needs to be a little bit more cooked as we told you. Hope to see you again and taste our food again!

    The hosts/owners/driver/chef, Camilla and Luigi were beyond kind and hospitable. The restaurant offers a pick up from hotels in Bellagio (for a fee) and we were surprised to see Chef Luigi behind the wheel. We were warmly greeted by Camilla after which followed a lovely and delicious meal with many local tastes including items from their garden. We had a wonderful evening and appreciate Camilla and Luigi and their staff for their kindness, humor, and hospitality.

    We were very impressed with Chef Luigi, who not only picked us up at our hotel, but prepare our outstanding dinner. Luigi’s staff I leave turn off that switch right there. I leave that one on have food preparation of only the best ingredients, much coming from their own garden. The service, the pace of service, each, and every bite was truly amazing. I would recommend.Salice Blu to everyone I know who might be coming to Bellagio.

    Salice Blu is very welcoming to customers. Food is amazing specially the tasting menu. Camilla was so nice to our requests and explain every dish to us. Really a superb restaurant.👍👍

    Luigi and Camilla were incredible hosts. We felt welcomed, entertained, and the food was delicious! It felt like going to your friend’s home the way that we were welcomed into the restaurant.

    Absolutely amazing food experience..would definitely recommend this place to anyone who goes to Lake Como and wants a good meal away from the crowds..

    I truly enjoyed my experience at Salice Blu. The family owned and run establishment makes you feel like you are somewhere special. You can tell they have a passion for what they do and they do it well. I had the quail and truffle pappardelle and one of the most wonderful garden salads I’ve had in years (right from their garden). The wine pairings are a must and if you don’t get a tiramisu you are crazy. We also had a beef filet but that really paled in comparison to the other dishes. This place is truly an experience.

    Absolutely disappointed. The risotto was the worst I’ve ever eaten. My sea bass 2nd entree was tasteless. Shack-N-Bake could have done a far superior job! The owners are sweet people - the chef came out to the table and we appreciated their efforts but the meal was absolutely / no doubt the worst restaurant meal I’ve ever eaten.

    Dear John, thank you so much to be so transparent with us! Next time you can eat directly Shack-N-Bake without coming in our restaurant understanding nothing about kitchen. You judge us but you don’t know what are saffron and foie gras. What are your cuisine knowledge tuo judge our food?

    Luigi picked us up in Ballagio. We were met with a friendly great staff. The pasta was the best we had in Italy. So I ordered more! Luigi was also our bartender and made it fun and entertaining. He makes a great Negroni. Then when we were ready he drove us back to our hotel. It was a great and delicious experience.

    The food was so good. We’ve been to many fine dining and Michelin star restaurants in NYC, Paris and Dublin. Salice Blu is in our top 3 now. Amazing food, good service, hands on Chef who also served as our sommelier, Camilla was so gracious and took time to answer so many questions.

    Lovely restaurant just outside of Bellagio high on the hill. Gourmet cuisine with a home field touch. Everything is grown and created on site. The truffle risotto is made with truffles found by Charlotte the owners truffle dog. This is a non-miss spot if you’re visiting Bellagio.

    Beautiful restaurant, wonderful ambiance, great food and service. Luigi and his wife were charming hosts, who helped advise us on our menu and wine selections, and even gave us a ride home (a great service the restaurant provides to car-less visitors). Highly recommended and a place our whole family agreed we would love to come back to.

    Mediocre Restaurant. Food was OK not special, would also not consider it local. Pasta was good, main course wat not what I was expecting for the prices. The wine arrangement was also not adapted to the courses. The wines were nice though but it would be good if they paired well with the course.

    Nice looking restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are well trained and helpful with our language difficulties, providing an English menu and helping with any further explanation of the dishes. The food is really good to look at but unfortunately we found the taste to be good but ‘just’ slightly lacking. The chef /owner is found in the restaurant rather than the kitchen and is keen to finish off the dishes with gimmicks such as a smoker or bubble machine. This makes for great entertainment and photos (which he is quite pushy to be included in) but the food seems to lack any intensity of flavours. Don’t get me wrong, the food is good but unfortunately not as great as the confident chef appears to think. We had a good meal and a good evening but I have eaten better food in Italy with less emphasis on presentation and showmanship.

    This is a family owned, fine dining restaurant. The chef is part of the service team and is also the sommelier. The other servers were attentive, explaining each course. A couple of courses are based on family recipes. We did a 7course tasting menu that was simply excellent. All ingredients sourced locally, including fish and caviar from Lake Como and some from their own garden. The whole experience was wonderful. We would highly recommend.

    An extraordinary dining experience! The food and staff were exceptional. Chef Luigi offers beautifully crafted, delectable dishes with thoughtful recommendations for wine pairing. He engages with his guests to assure quality, satisfaction and pure hospitality. It was truly one of the best meals I’ve ever had.

    This was a lovely dinner in Bellagio! The staff was so friendly and the chef and his wife chatted with us all night. We did the seven-course tasting menu with wine pairings and it was all wonderful! We definitely would recommend the experience to anyone looking for a more authentic experience in Bellagio.

    What a fun evening! Two of us celebrated my birthday at Salice Blu with the seven course tasting menu, seated with a full view of the kitchen. The food could definitely stand on its own, traditional dishes made from local ingredients with a hint of molecular gastronomy. Chef Luigi and his wife, (backed up by a well-trained staff) however, really brought the meal to life. They shared stories about the dishes and their traditions, chatted with us between courses and made us feel welcome. I'd inquired about non-alcohol options and they had homemade blueberry, raspberry and grape juices ready for pairing. The two I tried were delicious. The wines, one local, were also excellent according to my husband. Judging from our "food hangover" the next morning, the five-course menu would probably have been a more prudent option, but I really can't imagine skipping any of the seven courses. (If you're up for seven courses, book earlier than 8pm to really enjoy them.) I really recommend it for something just a bit different. They also offer a pick up and drop off service, as well, if you're not driving.

    It was nice that restaurant serves tasting menu- you can choose 4/5/7 courses menu. We tried 4 course menu. My personal opinion, food lacks a bit of taste, it is very mild taste, not the best tasting dinner in my experience, especially for the price paid. But quality is good, staff is very friendly, I think it is very nice place overall.

    This meal was the highlight of our time in Bellagio. Wonderful food on the set menu with excellent wine pairing. Chef Luigi and his wife were delightful, generous, and genuine. Their story and the link to their parents and grandparents is inspiring. This is the best reason to come to Bellagio.

    Second time in Bellagio and Salice Blue. Chef Luigi prepared even better meals than the last time and it seems the portions were also bigger. Tasty food with great atmosphere. Will definitely come back just to be in that restaurant again :)

    This restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip to Bellagio. The service was incredible and the food was even better. We did the 4 course tasting menu and the Chef even gave us a complimentary additional course. The wine pairing was perfect and the pours were generous. We enjoyed watching the Chef in the kitchen and appreciated that he took time to explain each course and ingredient included. At the end of our meal, they gave us a hand painted plate and a ride back to our stay. Thank you for a great evening!
