10/10I truly enjoyed my experience at Salice Blu. The family owned and run establishment makes you feel like you are somewhere special. You can tell they have a passion for what they do and they do it well. I had the quail and truffle pappardelle and one of the most wonderful garden salads I’ve had in years (right from their garden). The wine pairings are a must and if you don’t get a tiramisu you are crazy. We also had a beef filet but that really paled in comparison to the other dishes. This place is truly an experience.

6/10Absolutely disappointed. The risotto was the worst I’ve ever eaten. My sea bass 2nd entree was tasteless. Shack-N-Bake could have done a far superior job! The owners are sweet people - the chef came out to the table and we appreciated their efforts but the meal was absolutely / no doubt the worst restaurant meal I’ve ever eaten.

Dear John, thank you so much to be so transparent with us! Next time you can eat directly Shack-N-Bake without coming in our restaurant understanding nothing about kitchen. You judge us but you don’t know what are saffron and foie gras. What are your cuisine knowledge tuo judge our food?

10/10Luigi picked us up in Ballagio. We were met with a friendly great staff. The pasta was the best we had in Italy. So I ordered more! Luigi was also our bartender and made it fun and entertaining. He makes a great Negroni. Then when we were ready he drove us back to our hotel. It was a great and delicious experience.

9.5/10+2The food was so good. We’ve been to many fine dining and Michelin star restaurants in NYC, Paris and Dublin. Salice Blu is in our top 3 now. Amazing food, good service, hands on Chef who also served as our sommelier, Camilla was so gracious and took time to answer so many questions.

10/10Lovely restaurant just outside of Bellagio high on the hill. Gourmet cuisine with a home field touch. Everything is grown and created on site. The truffle risotto is made with truffles found by Charlotte the owners truffle dog. This is a non-miss spot if you’re visiting Bellagio.

10/10Beautiful restaurant, wonderful ambiance, great food and service. Luigi and his wife were charming hosts, who helped advise us on our menu and wine selections, and even gave us a ride home (a great service the restaurant provides to car-less visitors). Highly recommended and a place our whole family agreed we would love to come back to.

6/10Mediocre Restaurant. Food was OK not special, would also not consider it local. Pasta was good, main course wat not what I was expecting for the prices. The wine arrangement was also not adapted to the courses. The wines were nice though but it would be good if they paired well with the course.

8/10Nice looking restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are well trained and helpful with our language difficulties, providing an English menu and helping with any further explanation of the dishes. The food is really good to look at but unfortunately we found the taste to be good but ‘just’ slightly lacking. The chef /owner is found in the restaurant rather than the kitchen and is keen to finish off the dishes with gimmicks such as a smoker or bubble machine. This makes for great entertainment and photos (which he is quite pushy to be included in) but the food seems to lack any intensity of flavours. Don’t get me wrong, the food is good but unfortunately not as great as the confident chef appears to think. We had a good meal and a good evening but I have eaten better food in Italy with less emphasis on presentation and showmanship.

10/10This is a family owned, fine dining restaurant. The chef is part of the service team and is also the sommelier. The other servers were attentive, explaining each course. A couple of courses are based on family recipes. We did a 7course tasting menu that was simply excellent. All ingredients sourced locally, including fish and caviar from Lake Como and some from their own garden. The whole experience was wonderful. We would highly recommend.

10/10This was a lovely dinner in Bellagio! The staff was so friendly and the chef and his wife chatted with us all night. We did the seven-course tasting menu with wine pairings and it was all wonderful! We definitely would recommend the experience to anyone looking for a more authentic experience in Bellagio.

10/10What a fun evening! Two of us celebrated my birthday at Salice Blu with the seven course tasting menu, seated with a full view of the kitchen. The food could definitely stand on its own, traditional dishes made from local ingredients with a hint of molecular gastronomy. Chef Luigi and his wife, (backed up by a well-trained staff) however, really brought the meal to life. They shared stories about the dishes and their traditions, chatted with us between courses and made us feel welcome. I'd inquired about non-alcohol options and they had homemade blueberry, raspberry and grape juices ready for pairing. The two I tried were delicious. The wines, one local, were also excellent according to my husband. Judging from our "food hangover" the next morning, the five-course menu would probably have been a more prudent option, but I really can't imagine skipping any of the seven courses. (If you're up for seven courses, book earlier than 8pm to really enjoy them.) I really recommend it for something just a bit different. They also offer a pick up and drop off service, as well, if you're not driving.

9/10It was nice that restaurant serves tasting menu- you can choose 4/5/7 courses menu. We tried 4 course menu. My personal opinion, food lacks a bit of taste, it is very mild taste, not the best tasting dinner in my experience, especially for the price paid. But quality is good, staff is very friendly, I think it is very nice place overall.

10/10This meal was the highlight of our time in Bellagio. Wonderful food on the set menu with excellent wine pairing. Chef Luigi and his wife were delightful, generous, and genuine. Their story and the link to their parents and grandparents is inspiring. This is the best reason to come to Bellagio.

10/10+2Second time in Bellagio and Salice Blue. Chef Luigi prepared even better meals than the last time and it seems the portions were also bigger. Tasty food with great atmosphere. Will definitely come back just to be in that restaurant again :)

10/10Salice Blu is a must on your trip to Bellagio. The food is over the top. When we arrived we were greeted by the chef Luigi and his wife Camilla. They made us feel like family. We took a taxi to the restaurant becase we didn't want to walk on the narrow roads at night and they gave us a ride home. Chef Luigi's dishes are fabulous and the presentation is just as good. Unlike other restaurants in Bellagio, the portions are a little small so I recommend the tasting menu or ordering multiple dishes. This way you get to try more of Chef Luigi's dishes. Don't miss the Tiramasu either.

10/10This restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip to Bellagio. The service was incredible and the food was even better. We did the 4 course tasting menu and the Chef even gave us a complimentary additional course. The wine pairing was perfect and the pours were generous. We enjoyed watching the Chef in the kitchen and appreciated that he took time to explain each course and ingredient included. At the end of our meal, they gave us a hand painted plate and a ride back to our stay. Thank you for a great evening!

6.5/10Decent restaurant, the owner chef is an entertainer and works hard,tough location to get to , Che f Luigi picked us up and brought us home, very generous and kind . Food was presented and plated very well but was good not great and meal took almost 3 hrs, granted it was a 5 course tasting menu but was very tedious

10/10Highly recommend! This was one of the most memorable meals we had during our 11 days in Italy, The restaurant is situated beautifully in the hills of Bellagio area, away from the crowds, which was a breath of fresh air. We chose outdoor dining, and enjoyed the the Italian landscape as our backdrop. The food, service & ambiance truly outstanding. It is a family owned business, run with love and passion for authentic, high quality food. They also offer other services, cooking classes and I believe truffle hunting. When we return to Bellagio, we will definitely dine here again!

10/10This restaurant was absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate my 30th birthday, and this was the perfect place to do it because they made our night so so special. It was walking distance from our Air B&B which was a huge perk after traveling all day long. From the moment we walked in, we knew our dinner was going to be a special one. The vibes & atmosphere of this place were stunning, feels like you're dining in the jungle when you sit on their patio. The service was above and beyond, even after showing up late to our reservation due to travel delays, they still took really great care of us and gave us a night to remember. The food was also to die for, we balled out a little bit and ordered a lot off of the menu since it was my birthday, but it was so worth it and one of our favorite meals while in Italy. Both of our appetizers were to die for, special shout out to their delicious cheese board. We got the truffle pasta, and the truffle risotto for two, both incredible. And then we ordered 3 desserts - the chocolate cake, raspberry sorbet, and the tiramisu, and each one was 10/10. I loved my experience here and highly recommend this restaurant while in Bellagio!

8/10+1The food at Salice Blu was definitely worth the walk up from Bellagio! It was wonderfully presented and packed with flavour. The pasta dishes were amazing and just perfect. We also had meat dishes with were delicious and cooked perfectly. The main disappointment was the customer service. After being seated and getting a bottle of water it was about 35-40 minutes before we had our order taken or were asked if we wanted anything to drink and the service for the remainder of the meal was very up and down. Definitely not great and such a shame.

10/10We had a lovely time at Salice Blu! We had the Vegetarian Tasting Menu, which offers 5 courses, which includes a dessert. Each course was excellent and provided different flavours and experiences each time. Because of the many courses, our meal was drawn out over a couple of hours, which was very worthwhile and gave us lots of time to enjoy a bottle of wine from the Lombardi region of Italy. I would highly recommend Salice Blu. Chef Luigi, his wife, and the whole staff made the meal such a wonderful experience!

10/10Magic experience in such a beautiful place! We are chooses this restaurant for celebrating our anniversary, and it was a best choice! I highly recommended this restaurant for visiting, everything’s was perfect: service, food, plates ets… We enjoyed a lot! High quality food and service! Next time we come in Bellagio, for sure we come back in this restaurant!
