6.5/10Unfortunately all the employers were agresive and had a bad attitude with us. They had a problem with the fact that not all of us knew italian and a friend was translating, they thought that probably we were saying something bad, but it was not the case. After the restaurant was full, i didn’t saw this kind of behavior throughout other clients. The food is amazing, but we have a bad memory and probably next time for sure we will not come again here.

Great food and service. Roberto was welcoming and the lasagne was tasty. Lovely touch with the bottles of Limoncello and Meloncello. Worth a visit.

A quirky trattoria with a delightful menu of Bolognese treats. We had respectively traditional mixed salumi and cheese platter and tortellini in broth to start and wonderful grilled lamb and amazing tuna encrusted in seeds (theatrically presented in smoke under a cloche). Excellent attentive service added to this great dining experience. Booking essential.

10/10Without doubt the best restaurant we ate in during our recent trip; amazing food, authentic and friendly staff. The food was so tasty with particular shout outs for the the seafood antipasto and the tuna main course. Their wines are also excellent and reasonably priced. Put this restaurant at the top of your list for your next trip to Bologna !

6/10The restaurant looks great and the service was attentive but we can’t recommend the food. The stuffed mushrooms were delicious. Tortellini in brodo was bland, but that seems to be the local style. Lamp chops were quite tough and a bit overcooked, with the fat unrendered, while the accompanying potatoes were overly oily. The lasagne was pale, claggy and flavourless, due to too much bechamel and the merest scraping of ragù. My partner couldn’t eat it; staff offered a replacement or a dessert free of charge but we declined. We’d saved this for our last night due to the excellent reviews but we were pretty disappointed.

10/10Arrive same evening and had made this reservation to start our small vacation in Bologna. San Pietro gave us the absolute best start - with really good tradional food with a twist and an excellent service.

10/10We have eaten at this restaurant many times with family and as a couple. Service is outstanding, welcome always warm, food generous in portions and worthy of Michelin stars, and wine list rich. It is impossible to stand out as a great restaurant in Bolgona but San Pietro surely does as the best choice in Bologna for a fabulous dining experience!

10/10This restaurant is situated in a back alley not very well lit. We have come to discover through our trip in italy that this is where you find the best food. Incredible flavours and great service. The servers checked on us but did not hover. My husband had pork belly and his appetizer was fried Parmesan balls, so good. I had a great mixed salad to start and the lasagna, truly authentic. Desserts are in the fridge and you choose them yourself. Great wine as well. I had Prosecco and my husband had a house white. Very nice evening overall.

10/10Excellent service - asked to change table as first was by open door and our request was met without any fuss. Very efficient staff who were charming. Food did not disappoint either - very generous portions and delicious. The lemon sorbet is a must!! We will return in a heartbeat

10/10Great location away from the tourist trap. Wonderful sitting outside next to some old stone walls. Inside is contemporary interior. Great Italian food with modern twist, pretty good food , and pretty displayed. Service is excellent and so is the wine. This is a hidden gem :)

10/10We both had the Sea Bass with tomatoes and green beans with a side of the fried potatoes and a bottle of Pinot Grigio, which was all delicious and well presented. We sat outside and found the service fast and friendly. The waiters all spoke enough English for us to be understood. I would recommend this ristorante.
