10/10Excellent service - asked to change table as first was by open door and our request was met without any fuss. Very efficient staff who were charming. Food did not disappoint either - very generous portions and delicious. The lemon sorbet is a must!! We will return in a heartbeat

10/10Great location away from the tourist trap. Wonderful sitting outside next to some old stone walls. Inside is contemporary interior. Great Italian food with modern twist, pretty good food , and pretty displayed. Service is excellent and so is the wine. This is a hidden gem :)

10/10We both had the Sea Bass with tomatoes and green beans with a side of the fried potatoes and a bottle of Pinot Grigio, which was all delicious and well presented. We sat outside and found the service fast and friendly. The waiters all spoke enough English for us to be understood. I would recommend this ristorante.

10/10Roberto provided outstanding service to our family of 5 (grandparents, parents, and our little one). He especially was generous and fun with our little one, and he brought us a small round of after dinner drinks as well. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and the food as well -- delicious tortellini in brodo, tagliatelle ragu, gnocchi, and a stuffed pasta with pesto and tomatoes. Thank you Roberto for being so kind to our family!

10/10That was a perfect place. We were there on woman’s day and at the end of our experience (and it was not just eating but an experience!) I got flowers (all women got them on that day :) food was incredibly tasty and people very warm hearted

6/10Good food, but from the start of the meal you are hurried to finish. After finishing the starter, the main course arrived after 5 mins, and halfways through the course, we were asked if we were done…even if we were still eating. The same with dessert. When we asked to wait a bit, the waiter looked up 🙄 and said “tomorrow???” We really didn’t feel welcome here.

4/10The restaurant is located just 2 minutes from the center of Bologna on a quiet street, and the place is quite nice and clean. Regarding the service, I was really disappointed today. In contrast to my previous visits, there has been a significant decline in the quality of service. Given the prices charged, I expected better service. Firstly, the waiter simply placed water on the table without refilling our glasses. Then, he brought a spoon for one of the meals we had ordered, but instead of politely asking who ordered it, he used an arrogant tone and simply stated the name of the dish. We couldn’t understand what he was asking for because we hadn’t noticed the spoon, so he repeated himself with an even worse tone. Unfortunately, this was just the beginning of our ‘great’ experience. They brought bread with Parmesan but forgot to bring the plates, so we had to use the plates that were already on the table. No waiter came to check if we had everything we needed. When it was time for the main course, the waiter finally showed up and in front of other customers, gave us a sarcastic ‘lesson’ on how to ask for extra plates. From my perspective, the waiter needs education on proper service. How can you bring bread with Parmesan and oil to the table but forget the plates? Do they expect us to teleport the food into our mouths or should I stand up and start looking for my waiter? Or perhaps it’s better for me to go to the restaurant kitchen and fetch the plates myself because apparently, it’s too difficult for their staff to think logically? From this point on, the entire restaurant experience was ruined. Regarding the quality, the price does not match the quality of the food. The food was not well-balanced in taste, the starter was undercooked, and the pizza was poorly cut. On a positive note, the waiter at the entrance welcomed us warmly, and another staff member brought us a holder for our bags. In summary, we used to love this place and would highly recommend it to our friends who were visiting the city. However, after this experience, we will not be returning to this restaurant. I also cannot recommend this place anymore due to the disgusting, rude, and disrespectful behavior exhibited by some of the waitstaff. While customers are not always right, most situations can be handled much better and with a better attitude.”

7.5/10The food was excellent and the atmosphere vibrant. However, the service was not just poor, the head waiter was aggressively rude from the moment we walked-in. My wife and I presented ourselves and stated that we had a reservation at 8pm. The response was not “welcome” or “under which name”. Instead we were greeted by two angry shouts of “how many”. Once seated, it took long to get our water. Then, my wife’s first course and dinner came out at the same time while I waited over 10min for my first course. Once my wife was nearly finished with her entire meal, we asked when I could expect my second course. The response was then angry yelling at my wife. No “I’m sorry”. We couldn’t leave fast enough. That waiter should be fired.

10/10We had an excellent lunch at Ristorante San Pietro, located on a quiet block 5 minutes walk from the main Piazza of Bologna. Sat outside on a warm spring day, a sophisticated set up with crisp white linens on the table and a friendly atmosphere to enjoy our memorable meal. Exceptional Bolognese specialties (delicious, classic takes on tagliatelle al ragu, tortellini in brodo), as well as seafood and very good pizzas. Nice selection of wines. Terrific melon cream and limoncello served after the meal. We especially enjoyed the humour and kindness of Roberto who took great care of us!

10/10First time in Bologna and came here based on the google reviews, and absolutely did not regret it! The service was amazing, everyone was super friendly (despite me and my partner being unable to speak Italian), they explained the dishes really well and were really attentive throughout. We both ordered the tagliatelle with Ragu which was delicious, the beef and lamb chops for second course and the delicious lemon cake for dessert. Georgio (apologies if I spelt this incorrectly), was a particularly attentive host who throughly explained each of the desserts available and offered us lemonchello and melonchello to finish! Will recommend to our friends and hopefully be back soon. Amazing evening- perfect for a Bologna date night! Thanks!

10/10Great place! Food is traditional Bolognese but the attention to detail is amazing: spaghetti with shrimp that had been marinated in orange, dill, olive oil (of course!), and chili flakes that added just a little spice/heat to make this dish unique. I could describe every dish but going to do that. We ate at places that served traditional dishes and loved those places. But this place is a step above.. Great food that is no more expensive than the other places. Just go!
