10/10San Pietro is everything one wants, more than one expects and an absolute joy of a restaurant. The menu is more extensive than most, with a complete seafood set of starters, primi and secondi as well as a full meat and vegetarian offering and a further page of pizzas. Everything we tried was out of the ordinary and superbly cooked and presented. The wine list is extensive from 30 to 500 euro per bottle. Service is friendly, caring but entirely effective. The ambience is congenial and upper-mid market. If you can get a reservation, then come and eat here.

10/10My husband and I ate here last year and loved it. We came back this year with friends and had to bring them to taste this amazing food! All of our dishes were outstanding, the service is fabulous and the Limoncello that they serve you after the meal is even better!

10/10The food was amazing and the service even better! We had tortellini in cream sauce, tagliatelle with bolognese ragu, and lasagna. Good wine and grappa, and complimentary limoncello and meloncello…so good! Highly recommend!

The only thing I noticed, is that some plates have become smaller with the years. The portion of the salumi plater for example, or the tagliata or even the vegetables before they used to add more.

10/10We have been coming here consistently for the last three years whenever we are in Bologna, the service is excellent and friendly, the food is wonderful, and the ambiance is nice, just far enough away from the tourist madness of the Piazza. They have a wider variety of foods, not just the tortellini or lasagna, but also good meats and seafood to offer some change from the Bologna standards. I haven’t had their pizza but I assume good as I notice many local Italians who come and order the pizza! The service staff has been the same since we have been coming and they are hardworking and yet remain so friendly with their excellent service, we always make sure to leave with a photo with them! Definitely worth putting on your must do list! Mangia! Mangia! Grazie mille!

It's obvious that, compared to all the thousands of people who have visited us in the 10 years we've been open, you have completely different dietary needs. 10/10The dishes were very well presented. All the staff were friendly, yet very professional and efficient. Not often do you see a waiter jogging back to the kitchen in effort to ensure entrée’s are out quickly! Roberto (head waiter) was attentive to all patron’s needs and directed staff in a quiet efficient manner. Would highly recommend and would definitely return if ever in Bologna again.

2.5/10We didnt actually end up staying for dinner as the service was so poor. We arrived on time and waited several minutes before we were seated at a table that was very unstable and one of the chairs was placed on a big ridge in the footpath. We had to ask them to stabilise the table. Eventually the waiter came and asked if we would like water. We said yes, and some wine please. He said he would get the wine later. We waited 25 minutes and the waiters and sommelier still hadnt come to ask for our orders. Eventually we left, offering to pay for our water, but the maitre de refused to take our payment and said we should be more respectful as this was a good restaurant. I’m sure the food would have been good, but the attitude of the waiting staff was rude and arrogant. Unless you’ve got a lot of time on your hands and infinite patience I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

10/10We had different dishes and shared them. We had the Tagliatelle with Ragu, the Tortellini on broth, the duck and the fish balls, Pizza Margarita and fries. All dishes very good. We also had a bottle of red wine, a Fondatori Sangiovese Superiore Riserva 2021 from Merlotta.
