The food was absolutely delicious. In fact, we visited restaurant two nights in a row as we felt we would be disappointed if we decided to try a different location. For our second visit we tried different dishes and found them to be just as enjoyable as the 1st night. This restaurant is one I would not hesitate to recommend.

Servers were very kind and food was good. I never felt this comfortable before even I ate deep fried one. Pasta was also really good. Both had very deep and good scent and taste of seafoods. I might visit again later, if I can.

10/10Well worth visiting! We had a great dinner here this week. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The menu has a fabulous choice of food. We had a wonderful seafood salad with artichoke to start, followed by the daily special fish for two, both of which were superb. Great atmosphere - the restaurant was full but there is good space between tables. We will definitely visit again if we are in Venice.

Simply the most excellent dining experience in Venice. Restaurant was very busy when we arrived and despite having a booking we had to wait a little time...but we were given complementary prosecco and were given lots of attention, and when the table was free the service was quick, the food really fresh and hot and all of the staff were amazing, The sea bass risotto was the best pasta I have had in my life and both the beef fillet and pistachio tuna for mains were outstanding. Topped off with a tiramusu - just a perfect birthday dinner.

5.5/10Overpriced food, also Italian restaurant and they didn't have espresso. The toilets dirty and no water at all for us to wash our hands.When i complaint one waiter was a little bit aggressive.

8/10Comfortable setting with menu rich with dining choices. Pasta with generous sauces and side salad after cheese appetizers. Only three choices of wine from Veneto by the glass. Service attentive. Busy on a Tuesday evening in early December.

6.5/10Impressed by reviews, we looked forward to celebrating our Silver Wedding Anniversary here. The food was indeed very good, though not exceptional compared to others we sampled in Venice. Wine prices were ridiculous but the two drinks we had were reasonable. The most disappointing thing was the indifferent service and the quite rude behaviour in not waiting for one of us to finish the first course before plonking the next on the table! So OK but expected much better.

Very attentive waiters, romantic ambiance perfect for dates. Food was delicious. Third night in Venice/ was already on fish overload, so I ordered the Lamb Chops craving a bit of carne. Juicy, perfectly cooked, tender not gamey at all. Perfect balanced choice between tuna filet and Florentine steak.

2/10Why anyone gives this place a good review, I blame toxic empathy. Disgusting, dirty restaurant with poor service and stinky un-fresh fish. It’s offensive. I don’t understand any good reviews. A rip off at any price. At end of meal the waiter demanded a tip ?

Our best meal in Venice. Lovely setting and food. My sesame encrusted salmon was cooked perfectly. The tuna was tender and sushi grade.

8/10Great place and good food. But I ordered grilled scampis for dinner and there was only scampis in the plate, nothing else. I thought that it was a full plate with vegetables or potatoes.. Only 5 scampis. It’s good to know that you have to order sides.

8.5/10The outside space was so lovely. The service was attentive and respectful and the food came out in a perfect rhythm. The food was good, Venetian Italian food is definitely different from other areas of Italy. But, the flavors are interesting and the presentation is lovely

9.5/10The flavor of the food was excellent, well balanced and delicious. If they would remove the lobster shell and put more actual lobster meat, it would have been perfect. Clearly they know noone eats the shell, so why put it there for show, especially when the meat is very sparse for the price. The eggplant Parmesan was super tasty..

We came to this restaurant the last time we visited Venice, and it was one of my favorite meals. Of course, we had to come back on our current trip. San Silvestro did not disappoint. The waiters were fantastic, the food was delicious, and prices were fair. I highly recommend this restaurant.

10/10The staff was gracious enough to let us arrive. 15 minutes late. The food is delicious (vegan options available)? excellent service, and I appreciate a waiter that will 1) not let us order something by mistake OR 2) makes pairing suggestions :-) The limoncello at the end was the cherry… err, LEMON ON TOP!
