+1This is the second time in Venice and at San Silvestro and it never disappoints. Gorgeous food and reasonable prices, lovely atmosphere, the staff cannot do enough. Will return when i come back to Venice

The carpaccio starter was good, with a generous portion but somewhat lacking in flavor. The lobster linguine was excellent, well-prepared, and full of flavour. Service throughout was excellent. Overall, an enjoyable dining experience with a lovely atmosphere.

7/10I ordered file, but instead of medium, I got rare, and file had some parts un-chewable. They decreased file price from 30 to 20, but I remained unsatisfied. However, the antipasti was good enough.

Attentive and lovely waiters and waitresses, all happy to help and able have a laugh. Every single course was delicious (we had all four) but my favourite was the sesame pistachio tuna! Everything was cooked perfectly and the quality of food was amazing. We finished with dessert and some complimentary limoncello!

10/10Bear in mind there will be a queue at busy times so, even if you have a reservation, do stick around. the food and wine list are both superb.

9.5/10The food was excellent, the service very attentive, and the staff extremely friendly. Our table was a bit in the middle of the walkway, and the price-to-value ratio was on the higher side. Nonetheless, we were very satisfied overall.

This was our favourite restaurant during our stay in Venice this time. We really enjoyed the seafood and the service was absolutely exemplary. The staff were extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. We liked the classic Venetian ambience as well. In fact, we liked it so much that we dined with them again. This is one restaurant not to be missed. We had two great evenings at San Silvestro. Hope to return …

Fantastic little trattoria in a lovely part of Venice. The staff were super friendly. Food was delicious! Especially the scampi, tuna and pasta dishes. Highly recommend.

10/10An outstanding meal with the freshest raw and cooked fish. The branzino (sea bass) was delightful. Two beautiful wines delivered perfectly by Nico, the wonderful head waiter. A very special evening.

10/10Wonderful dining experience on atmospheric calle near Rialto but off the main beaten paths and away from the tourist hordes. Everything we had was well-prepared, delicious and reasonably priced. Best of all the wait staff was friendly, helpful without being obtrusive, and made it the lovely night that it was. Thank you, and we hope to be back one day!

10/10Whilst we had to wait for our table, once in the service was attentive & the food delicious . We had the grilled fish platter which was fresh & succulent. Stefano was a great host. Can’t recommend highly enough.
