We were excited to eat here but the food we had planned on ordering (lamb) was not available. We dined at 5:30pm. The appetizer we wanted wasn’t available either. We were advised that the mozzarella was not up to standard for our appetizer, which we appreciated. We had the artichoke appetizer, a meatball dish, shrimp salad (scampi), 2 glasses of preseco and chocolate cake w/gelato (loved). The restaurant itself was very aesthetic. In total it was 100 euro which our pallet and tummy were underwhelmed with.

Rispondo alla sua mi fa piacere che avete prenotato da noi accetto le critiche se costruttive la risposta sulla mozzarella è stata che in questo periodo è possibile con il freddo non trovare alte qualità come merita ,per lo stinco è stato detto che è una cottura a bassa temperatura ed era unica cosa mancante su un menù così importante..il prezzo avete mangiato carciofi alla giudia,scampi alla griglia, polpette,e involtini etortino al cuore caldo con gelato e fragole e con Prosecco per 2 il prezzo 50 euro è in linea anzi !per la cena ma in ultimo tutti i prezzi sono ben indicati sul menù

9.5/10My husband and I had a great meal at Sapori D’ischia. I had carpaccio to start and my husband had the mussels, both of which we excellent. We then shared an amazing grilled squid for our main. Stefan, our waiter, was hugely attentive and informative. All in all a great experience, will definitely return.

Food was very good. I had the pasta special which was fettuccine with sausage, mushroom, and peas. My wife had fettuccine with meat sauce. We also enjoyed caprese salad for an appetizer. Panna cotte for dessert. Stefano was our waiter and provided great service.

10/10Stefano was a wonderful host. Timing of food service perfect. Food was well prepared and presented. We plan to return this evening as it is our last night in Rome for this visit. Great to eat in a small intimate restaurant.

10/10We have now been going here every 6 months when we visit Rome, usually here 3 weeks at a time and come back 3x to 4x during then. Stefano has always been fantastic and provides us with food options and great specials. I can very highly recommend this restaurant for outstanding service he provides and the highest quality of food.

9.5/10Stefano was very personable and took the time to show us the fresh fish of the day. His daughter helped with the tables and his son is a chef. The food was our best yet in Rome and we will be back again soon! try the lobster with pasta. it was still alive when he showed it to us

10/10This place is a hidden gem! We could not have felt more welcomed by the server, who went out of his way to explain the dishes and their ingredients to make sure that our dietary needs were met. The portions were large but the prices reasonable and the food was very well prepared and plated. I highly recommend it!

8/10Food, at least fish and seafood, as well as "dolce"" would deserve a vote somewhat above 8, and also wine recommendation (Malvasia puntinata, Lazio) was very good and appropriate, but, unfortunately,the TheFork rating system allows only an 8 or 10. Whatever, the restaurant is worth a try - have a look for yourself.

9.5/10We very much enjoyed all aspects of our meal here. We have been to Italy before and are very picky with good food and consider ourselves foodies. They were able to accommodate a group of 7 with same day reservation and were very gracious. Reviews seemed a bit mixed but mostly positive and we were pleasantly surprised by our meal. The pasta was fresh and delicious. The wine was great. Do give this place a try. Seems like more locals frequent the restaurant.

8/10The tomato sauce on my husband’s lobster and pasta was outstanding. We also had some delicious tuna balls and stuffed squid appetizers suggested by our waiter/owner? which were different and delicious. However, per a previous review, be careful when you order the sea bass. I was shocked when it was 40 euros and it wasn’t anything special. We ate at some lovely places in Rome and this was the most expensive meal we had and it wasn’t the best. If you stick to things that are specifically priced on the menu, you will have a delicious meal but be careful with the items priced by the gram.

9.5/10Lovely place with excellent food. We had a nice table outside with cover, which was nice when it rained. So close to where we stayed but on a pretty quiet street. Gnocchi was to die for. Extremely fresh hand-made pasta and fresh seafood dishes. Worth the stop!
