10/10The food and the wine were amazing, recommended! Just a small point: (We had a 50% discount on food, so the price that I will report is full, without discount applied.) We were charged for the wrong meat (9€/h) instead of (8€/h) that on 1,45kg makes a difference of almost 15€ + we were charged for the water that was brought to us without having asked it, so we thought it was complementary (water was not in the bottle, just in glass decanter). Overall with the 50% discount it wasn’t much of an issue (around 10€ more than what we should have paid) but if someone pays full price double check the meat on the bill.

10/10Our first time in southern Italy, and with already a lot to live up to in Bari alone, Sapori Solari more than met the brief on my wife’s 39th Birthday. The best rare steak I think I’ve ever had, and the sautéed chicory and rosemary potatoes the perfect bed fellows. The red wine, from Puglia, was like velvet in a glass. We shared tiramisu and deconstructed pastiera for dessert, and left with full and more than satisfied bellies. A great restaurant.

We were able to sample the famous Cosata O Florentina Di Frisona which was expensive but is a once in a lifetime meal out . Great service by Giorgio and other staff / chefs nothing was too much trouble and we didn’t feel rushed even though they were busy . Definitely worth a visit and even more so if you can book using a the Fork offers .

9/10High quality food. This was our second visit on 7 day stay in Bari. Our favourite restaurant for quality and friendly service. We had steak which was delicious with roast potatoes. Would have liked more choice of vegetables perhaps. Dessert was panne cotta with chocolate sauce. Again delicious! Highly recommended this restaurant. Especially if you like a steak

8/10Nice ambiance on arrival and good service. We chose the steak that cooked at the table but found the hot plate lost its heat very quickly, and had to ask for another hot plate. The side salad was disappointing – iceberg lettuce with a few tomatoes. We would have stayed for dessert, except a large group of very young children with their mothers arrived at 8:30pm and the noise level became uncomfortable, so we chose to leave as soon as we could. We had a pleasant dinner but no desire to return.
