Our first time in southern Italy, and with already a lot to live up to in Bari alone, Sapori Solari more than met the brief on my wife’s 39th Birthday. The best rare steak I think I’ve ever had, and the sautéed chicory and rosemary potatoes the perfect bed fellows. The red wine, from Puglia, was like velvet in a glass. We shared tiramisu and deconstructed pastiera for dessert, and left with full and more than satisfied bellies. A great restaurant.

We were able to sample the famous Cosata O Florentina Di Frisona which was expensive but is a once in a lifetime meal out . Great service by Giorgio and other staff / chefs nothing was too much trouble and we didn’t feel rushed even though they were busy . Definitely worth a visit and even more so if you can book using a the Fork offers .

Excellent experience at this restaurant. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly from the first welcome greeting at the door. The food was to die for and the atmosphere complimented it. We loved every second Thank you.

High quality food. This was our second visit on 7 day stay in Bari. Our favourite restaurant for quality and friendly service. We had steak which was delicious with roast potatoes. Would have liked more choice of vegetables perhaps. Dessert was panne cotta with chocolate sauce. Again delicious! Highly recommended this restaurant. Especially if you like a steak
