5.5/10Tourist trap. They melt ok cheeses and give you some bread and potatoes and charge obscene amounts. (Meat fondue is a joke if you come from a city with decent Chinese or Japanese hot pot places - why bother?). If you want some tap water, each little carafe is 8F. so if you get it three times because there’s 2 of you, you pay 24F for tap water. Toblerone fondue too is obscenely expensive. One server (tallest guy) was gruff and unfriendly. And they also subtly pressure you into tipping. Decor is modern and clean but lacks charm. There are many amazing places to eat in Zermatt. I would do fondue in a less expensive place once and visit many fabulous places in Zermatt for all other meals and skip this one.

10/10A good Fondue, pro service. The waiter, when we asked for still water, proposed tap water (for free), but we were 4 and asked for a bottle of wine and a single glass 0,0. We all had the impression that the quantity per person had increased since last year. We go back there with pleasure each time we are in Zermatt.

6.5/10The fondue was great, but our waiter was pushy, judgmental, and unprofessional, for example when asking for tap water, even though we also ordered drinks. At the end of the meal, he told us the service charge was not included in the bill, and that a tip would compensate him and the staff for their time (not true). This was frustrating, and we would not recommend.

10/10Lovely chic yet cosy restaurant. Staff all very welcoming and professional. Excellent service and food. Service prompt despite the restaurant being busy. We had the raclette journey which was very enjoyable. Reasonable prices. Would definitely return.

I was a solo traveler and they gave me the best experience. They sat me at a regular table, and kept checking in on me and gave me the best service, not to say that the fondue, wine, and dessert (swiss iced coffee) were all delicious

5.5/10I have had fondue many times as it’s a favorite and this was just average. Nothing special about the cheese or chocolate, but the vegetables were very fresh. Frustrating to be charged 10 chf for tap water. Environment was also really loud, lots of kids and babies.

5.5/10The cured meat sausages were awesome, and the toblerone fondue was good. The raclettes were just ok, and the service was very slow and our waiter seemed to constantly forget about us (like 20 mins after we were done we had to call him over twice so we could order dessert). Add all that and 320 CHF for 4 people and it’s just not worth it. There’s much better food in Zermatt for the same price.

8/10Small, cozy restaurant located in a hotel. Nicely decorated and friendly staff. Offered suggestions for our order. Suggestions for our wine selection. Take notice that wine pours for all of our experience in Switzerland was small pours. So, I would recommend ordering a bottle and taking what you don't drink back to your hotel to enjoy another night.

6/10Disappointed in SayCheese. Overpriced, even for Zermatt, and rushed service. $10 for a carafe of tap water and using QR codes for the menu while spending $200 seems stingy. Food was good but not great.

8/10The restaurant is very dark which makes the menu hard to read. It is also very stuffy, which seems to be the case for all interior spaces during the summer. I wish there were an occasional fan just to keep the air moving. The staff was amazing and very friendly. The fondue was good as were the accoutrements. The chocolate fondue was definitely the highlight of the meal.

7/10Waiter was fantastic! Night got off to a slow start when he had to tell us the tap water was 10 francs per carafe. We’ve gotten used to different fees as we’ve travelled internationally - but this one’s bizarre. Great service - food was fine.

8.5/10The food was really good but WAY overpriced for what you get. $14 for tap water? $17 for a spritz? $38 for a tiny pot of chocolate fondue and some fruit? $102 for a plate of thin slices of meat?.... I mean, I understand it's Switzerland. The ambiance was fantastic, the staff was attentive enough, but we were scared to ask for anything because we'd probably be charged more. If you haveoney to burn, go for it, it's delicious, just not at that price.

5/10Very expensive place for a very average fondue. We have had much better in various places in Switzerland. Service was ok but the whole feeling was one of pushing you to constantly spend more which was quite unsettling. Kitchen and waiting staff kept arguing in full view of customers. Crazy price for what it was. Place itself is in the basement of a hotel - it’s not bad from an ambience perspective. Overall wouldn’t go back or recommend

8.5/10the fondue was very good, among the best in zermatt with excellent bread. I found the raclette was good but not out of the ordinary. Nothing was below average. I personally found the price was a bit excessive (eg 14chf for a bottle of water or charging for tap water). While I understand the idea of paying tribute to Swiss tradition, a server dressed as a milkman/cheesemakers) was maybe a bit too much. Anyhow service was professional/good.

4.5/10Starting the experience, the waiter was not helpful at all. It went downhill from there. It was very hot in the restaurant. The food was overpriced for what it was… bread and cheese. A bottle of flat water was $14.
