8/10Small, cozy restaurant located in a hotel. Nicely decorated and friendly staff. Offered suggestions for our order. Suggestions for our wine selection. Take notice that wine pours for all of our experience in Switzerland was small pours. So, I would recommend ordering a bottle and taking what you don't drink back to your hotel to enjoy another night.

10/10We were a group of 6 and 4 had not had fondu before. The staff were very patient and explained everything very well. We all enjoyed a delicious meal.

6/10Disappointed in SayCheese. Overpriced, even for Zermatt, and rushed service. $10 for a carafe of tap water and using QR codes for the menu while spending $200 seems stingy. Food was good but not great.

8/10The restaurant is very dark which makes the menu hard to read. It is also very stuffy, which seems to be the case for all interior spaces during the summer. I wish there were an occasional fan just to keep the air moving. The staff was amazing and very friendly. The fondue was good as were the accoutrements. The chocolate fondue was definitely the highlight of the meal.

7/10Waiter was fantastic! Night got off to a slow start when he had to tell us the tap water was 10 francs per carafe. We’ve gotten used to different fees as we’ve travelled internationally - but this one’s bizarre. Great service - food was fine.

8.5/10The food was really good but WAY overpriced for what you get. $14 for tap water? $17 for a spritz? $38 for a tiny pot of chocolate fondue and some fruit? $102 for a plate of thin slices of meat?.... I mean, I understand it's Switzerland. The ambiance was fantastic, the staff was attentive enough, but we were scared to ask for anything because we'd probably be charged more. If you haveoney to burn, go for it, it's delicious, just not at that price.

7.5/10The only complaint I have is price for a regular water, tap water we requested should be free, couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw in the bill 28 CHF for it. Seriously??

5/10Very expensive place for a very average fondue. We have had much better in various places in Switzerland. Service was ok but the whole feeling was one of pushing you to constantly spend more which was quite unsettling. Kitchen and waiting staff kept arguing in full view of customers. Crazy price for what it was. Place itself is in the basement of a hotel - it’s not bad from an ambience perspective. Overall wouldn’t go back or recommend

8/10Quality restaurant within the hotel. Personally, we prefer the offbeat, family run restaurants for fondue. However, this is not to say you should avoid the Say Cheese experience!

6.5/10Excellent food. Waiters a bit stuffy about us ordering only a little (as exchange rate makes Switzerand expensive for u) but otherwise great ambience. Liked the scrapping of the fondu pan at end - excellent idea.

8.5/10the fondue was very good, among the best in zermatt with excellent bread. I found the raclette was good but not out of the ordinary. Nothing was below average. I personally found the price was a bit excessive (eg 14chf for a bottle of water or charging for tap water). While I understand the idea of paying tribute to Swiss tradition, a server dressed as a milkman/cheesemakers) was maybe a bit too much. Anyhow service was professional/good.

4.5/10Starting the experience, the waiter was not helpful at all. It went downhill from there. It was very hot in the restaurant. The food was overpriced for what it was… bread and cheese. A bottle of flat water was $14.

7.5/10A good location for traditional cheese fondue. Shoulder season, and going through some staff training. Had a bit of an issue with our waiter inadvertently serving incorrect wine; required some discussion with manager to try to ensure he was not penalized (understandable error due to labeling). Otherwise excellent and would recommend.

10/10First the restaurant is inside of the most beautiful fancy looking hotel near the main church. I waited outside while waiting for the restaurant to open and meanwhile I had a great time right before entering the restaurant. Saycheese, recieved me with a warm welcoming and a chef surprise. I had the reclette journey and I dont regreat it. The service provided by Dominic was amazing since he knew all the details about the cheese, he pointed out the regions and some interesting details about the cheese. Service was very on point and food journey was exquisite! I do recommend it 100%

10/10We thoroughly enjoyed our night in Zermatt with delicious cheese and chocolate fondue served in a cozy and romantic atmosphere. It was perfect after a blustery and snowy trip up the mountain and our disappointment at not viewing the Matterhorn. After dinner we strolled under a sparkling clear dusky sky and there was the majestic mountain, right on cue. Perfect wrap up to our time in beautiful Zermatt.

10/10Say cheese! was a real find. We have been in Switzerland for a few days and knew that sometime before we left the country that we wanted some fondue. It certainly has changed and gotten more sophisticated since the old days...:) The wait staff was amazing and walked us through how it worked and what our options were. We had the mild cheeses and bacon. All we can say is YUM!

8.5/10Best fondue I ever had! The basement restaurant had really nice ambience but as soon as all the fondue started on each table, it started to get hot and stuffy from all the (delicious) cheese smell. Also, I didn't know "sausage" meant salami so imagine my surprise when I received sliced salami instead of sizzling sausage!

6.5/10The food was exactly what you want from a fondue restaurant. The prices for the food lined up with Zermatt pricing. The service was mediocre, I think we had a server on their first day. The tap water was 10 CHF per liter. I can’t begin to understand why tap water would cost anything let alone be so expensive when right out the front door there is a fountain that has unlimited free tap water. Overall, it was good but I probably would try other fondue places before this one.

10/10The food was absolutely incredible! Great portion sizes. Our waiter was WONDERFUL! We had great service the entire time. We got the cheese fondue and chocolate fondue. The cheese fondue was the best we have ever had!

4.5/10Unfortunately, the temperature in the restaurant was extremely warm making the experience almost unbearable. The food was good. As a big group of 10, we were forced to take a fixed menu which was more food than we needed and was not good value for the money spent. They even charged us for tap water.

7/10The food quality was good. The ambiance was good. Serving personnel were friendly, but we did not feel well attended to. Ran out of water with the appetizers, and I had to choke down an entire pot of hot cheese with bread and potatoes with no beverage despite our attempts to summon attention. Would not return, but this may just be an isolated experience.

8/10The cheese fondue was fun. The chocolate fondue was disappointing in what was served with it. While the chocolate was amazing, the fruit served with it was disappointing. Would prefer strawberries and bananas.

10/10Super dîner. Super food. Super ambiance. Sad that the wine card has only expensive wine when we know that wine is not that expensive in France, Italy, Spain… But behind the wine price, everything was perfect !
