omg the butter chicken here!!! totally cured my hangover. me and my flatmate come here all the time when we don't wanna spend a fortune on dinner. it gets super loud and chaotic on weekend nights and sometimes they forget your drinks but the food completely makes up for it. get the cheese naan you wont regret it."

tbh you have to fight your way past like 10 guys trying to drag you into their own restaurants in passage brady before you even get to this place. food was actually pretty bangin though. garlic naan was unreal but the tables are so incredibly close together i was basically eating dinner with the couple next to us. cheap and fast, gets the job done."

Solid spot in the 10th. The vibe in this whole covered street is chaotic in the best way possible. We sat down and our food came out crazy fast. The lamb biryani was packed with flavor and definitely had a good kick to it. The tables are packed pretty close together so don't expect a quiet, private dinner, but for a fun, loud meal with a couple of mates, it’s spot on.

Walking into Passage Brady feels like stepping into another world, and Shalimar is right at the heart of it. The restaurant is lively, loud, and smells amazing. We ordered the Mixed Grill to share, and the meat was tender and smoky. The waiters were joking around with us and made the evening very fun. A great spot for a casual Friday night."

Very bad service, they make you feel like you are asking for a favor (and you shouldn't ask too much). At the arrival, the host is unwelcoming, then during the meal you have to pray to be heard/seen when you try to ask for something, and finally when leaving they make you wait 10 min to let you know that there's nothing else to pay (we used yums at the reservation). I don't recommend this place, you can definitely find an equivalent food and price with a better service in the nearby competitors (I've had better experiences in at least two places nearby).

If you are looking for the best Indian restaurant Paris 10 has to offer, look no further than Old Shalimar Paris. Tucked away in the vibrant, historic Passage Brady, this spot feels like a true culinary escape right in the heart of the city. We stumbled upon it while exploring the 10th arrondissement and were absolutely blown away by the authentic Indian cuisine. The garlic naan was served fresh out of the tandoor, and the Chicken Tikka Masala was incredibly rich and perfectly spiced. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving delicious, affordable Passage Brady Indian food!"

Old Shalimar is the perfect Indian restaurant for tourists visiting Paris. Located in the famous Passage Brady, and just a few minutes from Gare de l’Est and Gare du Nord, it’s an ideal stop after arriving by train. The Butter Chicken was creamy and full of flavor, the garlic naan was fresh, and the chicken biryani was perfectly spiced. If you’re searching for halal food in Paris city center, this place is a safe and delicious choice. Excellent service and very good prices for central Paris.

If you’re looking for the best Indian restaurant in Passage Brady, Old Shalimar delivers a full authentic experience. The chicken biryani was aromatic and generous, packed with traditional Indian spices. The tandoori dishes were grilled perfectly, and the curry sauces had deep, balanced flavors. It’s rare to find such high-quality halal Indian food in Paris 10 at such a good price. Perfect for dinner with friends or family in central Paris.

Old Shalimar is easily one of the best Indian restaurants in Paris 10. Located in the famous Passage Brady, this spot offers truly authentic Indian cuisine in the heart of Paris. The Butter Chicken was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, while the garlic naan was freshly baked and soft. We discovered Old Shalimar during a weekend in Paris and it quickly became our favorite spot for authentic Indian food. The restaurant offers a wide variety of classic dishes like butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, lamb curry, and fresh cheese naan – all full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Portions are generous, prices very reasonable, and the lunch menu is a great value. The staff welcomed us warmly and created a cozy atmosphere. If you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine in Paris with great service, Old Shalimar is definitely worth a visit!

I’ve eaten at Old Shalimar a couple of times now and it’s quickly become my go-to spot for Indian food in Paris. The dishes actually taste like the ones I’ve had in India – rich flavours, good spices, nothing watered down. Portions are generous without being heavy and prices are fair. The place itself is simple and relaxed, nothing fancy, but the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful which makes the whole experience easy and pleasant. If you’re craving proper Indian food rather than the usual “French-style” curries, this is a solid choice.

We are an Indian family staying in the UK. On our holiday in Paris, we were looking for good Indian food and we found it at Shalimar!! The food was great. We had Dal Tadka, Palak Paneer, Vegetable Biryani, Garlic Naan and Mango Lassi. All dishes were well made. The palak paneer stood out. The service was great as well. Would recommend it for fellow travellers!
