6.5/10I've been a regular at this restaurant, primarily for their excellent controfiletto. However, on my recent visit, they've made changes to their menu. While the food is still delicious, I was a bit disappointed to see that my favorite dish has been altered. Despite these changes, the quality of the food remains high. It's worth noting that they haven't updated their menu yet to reflect these modifications, which can be a bit confusing for returning customers. Overall, it's still a good dining experience, but I miss the original controfiletto I used to enjoy here.

+2We discovered a new delicious spot in Rome. Excellent service and a friendly staff. All the dishes were beautifully prepared. The Tartare di manzo con melanzane alla norma, stracciatella di bufala e pasta kataifi was perfectly made—the meat melted in the mouth and was hand-cut. The Controfiletto di manzo (250g) con senape al miele, served with roasted potatoes, was an incredibly tender beef cut. For dessert, we had the Cheesecake Frutti di bosco / Pistacchio, which was also delightful. It’s rare to find a restaurant with such good cuisine in a highly touristy area. The dining space was small and quite simple in decor, but the quality of the food more than made up for it. We will definitely be coming back!

3/10Staff rolled her eyes on reception. There were flies flying around the restaurant. There was basically no elbow space, almost touching the next table. Got the mixed seafood starter, was mostly just plain raw seafood cubes. Got the pasta carbonara, the pasta itself was rather on the chewy/undercooked side, the sauce was very salty. Left most of it behind. Would not recommend!

+2Authentic cuisine and full of real Italian atmosphere. At 20:30 it was crowded with Italians but tourists like us were also made to feel welcome. Go here -especially on Friday or Saturday- you won't regret.

6/10We went twice to this restaurant. Starters and appetizers were pretty good. Main meal was the first evening "ok" and the pasta the second evening was super salty. Pretty disappointing. I would come back for the starters but not for the main meals anymore. Staff simply said "sorry" about the super salty pata and left quickly. A plus was the offered cookies and limoncello at the end.

10/10The restaurant is somewhat hidden at the lower ground floor but the ambience is nice and the service quick and careful. The offer of food is good and quite refined. I was directly offered the special discount from the Fork without asking or remind anyone.

5.5/10the pasta especially the rigatoni was almost uncooked and it was not homemade pasta that most places in Rome serve. also we were three people and they served us tap water for 2,5 euro each refill. first time in my life i was asked to pay for tap water . they keep bringing you tap water without asking for more of course and without informing us that they charge 2,5 euros for it. the beef tartar was chopped very thick it would taste much better if they serve this plate chopped very well. the service was very helpful and nice and the wine great. the cheese and meat platter is nice. the beef with honey mustard was very tough even though it was cooked medium rare. we payed 144 euros with 50% discount with 2 bottles of wine that cost 53 euros both.

Francisco was nice. The rest of the stuff was gonna upset that we didn’t know how to speak Perfect Italian. I ordered the steak. The picture discloses how much I ate out of my meal.

6/10THE FOOD WAS GOOD, but i will not be surprise that this restaurant rise their price for the drinks (for me was a glass of wine) to compensate the discount by using the folk (discount of 40% on the menu). I explain myself: a glass a wine is currently From 6 to 8 euros in this range of restaurant in Italy. There is was 12 euros for on glass and the wine was sorry for the term: terrible.
