5/10Mediocre tourist restaurant. They have a women outside enticing people in whose appearance is that of a gypsy. The serving staff whilst friendly were very efficient and after asking for the dessert menu, which never arrived I called for the bill. Menu was also very limited.

The beef was good, and the potatoes were delicious too, but the pasta was really not to my taste—it was way too hard. The restaurant had a great ambience, but it was so crowded that we only got a small table right by the restroom, so we didn’t get to enjoy the atmosphere at all.

10/10A very lovely restaurant in Rome, I’ve been going there since last summer and it was amazing every time, never disappointed! Kind and friendly staff, the place is always clean, food is great and portions are generous! Highly recommended

6/10The food wasn't tasty. The meat in the tartare was darkened in places and wasn't cut into neat little cubes from a single piece, but rather looked like it was just leftovers. When I checked out, they added a dish I didn't order. It was removed, but it was still unpleasant.

6.5/10Nice restaurant in a small road. The restaurant is located at the -1 level. Service was ok, we did not like the food that much but maybe it is because of our taste (we had carbonara and ravioli ripieni all' amatriciana). The tagliere was ok, I would have expected more variety of affettati, bit all in all ok (1 cheese, small mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, 2 slices mortadella, 2 slices coopa and 2 salami). Portions are ok. Very large menu with appetizers, pasta, seafood and meat.

4.5/10There was no kids menu and no substitutions or changes to the menu items. I ordered a pasta with picanha and there was so much fat left on the meat, not good and the pasta lacked flavor despite the fatty meat. Carpaccio was served with hot cheese which ended up cooking the meat and quality was not great either, full of fat and veins. I don't understand the good reviews. Portions sizes were good and reasonable price with The Fork summer discount but will not be returning.

The service and food was amazing. I had the tortellini as well as the Picanha and both were so delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well. For those thinking of going - the restaurant is downstairs. We asked to sit on the patio and they graciously let us. If we ever get the opportunity to come back to Roma we will visit again.

2/10What a complete disappointment. I came here after seeing decent reviews and photos of a menu that looked promising — we ordered a dish described as breaded octopus and potato balls. What we got? Three potato balls with a tiny trace of something that might have been octopus, just crumbs, which we returned immediately. They later still left the full charge for the dish on the check, totally disappointed. Also, the entire menu had changed compared to what we saw online. I ended up ordering a burger out of desperation, and honestly, it was worse than the cheapest fast food I’ve ever had. No starters, no bread, no olive oil — nothing that other reviews mentioned as being part of the experience. This place is a complete tourist trap, and the only reason anyone might come is the 50% discount via The Fork. That’s the only thing they’ve got going for them. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for authentic or even decent food. Stay away.

6.5/10This place was recommended by family from a previous trip. It was nice and we had great welcome, but the food was disappointing. Mainly the carbonara that was recommended by the waitress was very bad with the pasta undercooked and an incredible salty taste. I also don’t recommend the tuna tartare. It might have been the cook day off on Sunday.

10/10Firstly our waitress Lyla was the nicest person I had the pleasure of meeting, her recommendations were spot on and she was so sweet. The food was divine, by far the best I have eaten in Italy. Would definitely go back if I were to come back.

My wife and I recently dined at Sphaeristerium, and overall, it was a very, very cool restaurant with truly incredible ambiance. The atmosphere alone makes it a worthwhile visit! The food was remarkably fresh. For an appetizer, we tried the mixed meat appetizer for two. While decent, I'd probably skip it next time and opt solely for the carpaccio or beef tartare, which I imagine would shine on their own. However, the pasta was the real highlight! We were incredibly impressed. The Carbonara, in particular, was absolutely mind-blowing – an unforgettable dish that I would highly recommend. The service was okay. We were seated in a private room, which meant we didn't have staff checking in on us very frequently. That said, when they did, they were friendly and pleasant. Despite the slightly less frequent check-ins due to our private room, the overall experience, particularly the amazing ambiance and the truly excellent pasta, makes Sphaeristerium a place I'd happily recommend.
