10/10One of the best meals I’ve had! The yellowtail w/pistachios, veggie green curry & sashimi platter were all flavorful along w/the perfect portion sizes, service was attentive & ambience of the restaurant added to a perfect evening.

3/10It was an excellent restaurant. The food decreased in quality, a lot, in all aspects- flavour, ingredients, diversity; the room that used to bem quiet, fancy and intimate, now has bright lights, uncomfortable seats/ chairs, and, the worst- waiters talking about their business around us and Cleaning noise. It was impossible to enjoy the expensive diner and to have a break and talk with my husband . Sad that it happened because we live near and used to enjoy the place.

6/10The venue is exceptional but once you enter the hot restaurant the quality ends. The food was average and not a 5 star hotel experience and the Toro ( on show) was only for the owner! Service was good but the food quality and hot restaurant made it a poor experience

4.5/10We were staying at the resort and decided to try Spices mainly out of convenience, knowing that the prices would be on the high side. However the fact that we were not told that we were paying over 8 euros for each bottle of water that the server used to keep our glasses filled was offensive. Additionally the acoustics in the room cause it to be a very noisy place and not enjoyable even though the tables are not unusually close together.

10/10This is a beautiful and elegant restaurant. A great view. The staff were very welcoming. Rodrigo were very attentive and knowledgeable. The service was superb. Food delicious.

7.5/10We were very excited to eat at Spices as I am a big fan of fusion restaurants. However, when we got there it was a Japanese buffet night and you could not order off the regular menu. The food was good but it was very over priced. The meal was not worth the $198 euros it cost. The service was friendly and overall the experience at this Ritz Carlton was great. This meal however did not hit the mark.

10/10+1Congratulations to the team! From the chef to the cleaning staff. Marvellous food, atmosphere and service. Worth a Michelin star! Shrimp Bao simply the best one in the world! Lamb and pistachio! What a combination! Green fish curry?!?! Simply divine.

7/10Having eaten at Spices ordering from the "regular" menu, which is not available during the Saturday night buffet, I would say the food quality suffers on the buffet. We wouldn't choose it again. We were also a bit disappointed that, despite noting a special adult occasion, we were seated next to a very noisy family with loud children and pinging cell phones. It is noteworthy that we were the only two tables in the restaurant at the time because it was early. We had to ask to be moved.

6.5/10All the staff were great but the restaurant was soulless and the food not up to previous standards. Naan bread was a sugary flatbread, bao's tasting like a club sandwich ..... please go back to your previous standards of excellent food.

10/10This place deserves a higher Michelin star rating. Enjoyed the experience- food flavors, menu choices, staff attention and most of all how knowledgeable our waiter was about wines and the food. He said he loves his job and it showed. Good choice for vegetarians!

6.5/10The poor service seriously let this restaurant down. That and the fact it was full hotel guests with young children ruined what would otherwise have been a pleasant meal. It took over 4 hours to serve the meal due to long periods waiting for a waiter. The wine arrived at the table already opened (unusual). The port was served with substantial sediment in the glass and request for water or ice had to be asked for several times before they were brought. Not what you would expect of a restaurant in this price bracket.

9/10We were so happy to be able to return to a restaurant as the pandemic winds down, so I had a very positive attitude. The staff seemed to be happy to be back at work and were very welcoming. We had been to Spices before, so we knew the menu and there was nothing unexpected. We will return in the future.

10/10We know it's a classy place. The moment demanded such. All the staff felt like family. Kind, helpful, FUNtastic. The food was delicious and unique. The environment of all the area is breath taking . We loved every moment. Surely we will go back and expect to bring friends. Thank you Spices.

8.5/10The setting in Penha Longa is beautiful, with a great view of the scenery. We went to the Saturday buffet. The food was wonderful, a wide selection of items, well prepared. The disappointment was the service, but this may be in part to the changes made because of the Cover-19 situation. Instead of a regular buffet where diners can serve themselves, there is a system where the staff serves the guests. This slows things down. Rather than getting up to serve ourselves, we were encouraged to ask the staff for dishes. The staff brought some things promptly, but one item we requested never arrived. Also, paying the bill proved to be unexpectedly slow. The restaurant was more crowded than I had expected, given the current restrictions on indoor dining. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and I would go again after the pandemic is over.

9/10We had a good meal at Spices. The food was spot on. Portions are pretty small but the flavor is very good. We were sitting not far from the kitchen and that made it a bit smelly. The exhaustion is not the best but allright in the end. Service was also pretty good. It’s certainly a nice trip around the Asian flavors.

10/10Everything from the food quality to the service was perfect. João had very good knowledge of the wines that he served, and together with Vanessa and Catarina, they took good care of us. We always felt we were being looked after. It surely was a 5 star experience.

10/10Food was outstanding, as was the ambience of the place. The staff were attentive, welcoming and knowledgeable, able to recommend which dishes were particularly good on the day. They also offered guidance on how much to order, etc. Particular highlights were the bao, bulgogi and the desserts were sublime. Decent wine list, too, with fair prices. Well worth a visit!

9.5/10Lovely team on arrival and Walter great in the restaurant. Took a while for the food to arrive (over 30 mins) even though all dishes were small enough but restaurant was busy so I may have just have been unfortunate in arriving just as several tables ordered. Food and wine were excellent quality and service was really friendly and professional (with sincere apology for the long wait time from the service team).

10/10So Spices was a very cool experience, went ther with my girlfriend just for a restaraunt lisbon week menu and was so great! Welcoming and service were really great, we have also the opportuniy to see the kitchen and have a little talk with chief. We'il come back for sushi buffet on saturday's! thanks a lot Spices.
