Our service vorgot us. I except that it was during the art fair but, we arrived early and it took for ever to order, drinks came very slow, and then at 22:00 we asked about our main course and it had been forgotten, and to be truthfull it was not very good. Only I dish was exceptable. Never again.

A lovely gem in a non-touristic neighborhood of Basel! Like to go there since years. Excellent and savoury food, with a well selected wine list, combined with a service, that makes you feel welcome! Highly recommended :-)

The restaurant is super cozy, the staff very friendly and the service was outstanding. Regarding the food, the restaurant offers modern versions of typical Swiss dishes, that were nicely presented and very tasty. There is also a good variety of drinks and a great wine list. Definitely worth a visit!

The food was very good, however I do not believe they should allow smoking in the small enclosed courtyard. All of our eyes were burning from all the smoke and made for an unpleasant experience. At that price point they should do better.

Loved this cozy restaurant with delightful service. The best ravioli ever. Our plane was late so we were late for our reservation but they happily accommodated us even though they were very busy. I would definitely return.

Really tasty food and a very imaginative menu. Between us we had steak tartare with beetroot and horseradish ice-cream, pasta with spicy sausage sauce, veal cheek and steak, liver with rösti and crème brûlée with rhubarb ice-cream, all delicious!

A small restaurant, so can be quiet loud (I was there over lunch and every seat was filled) - then again, that speaks volumes for how good it is. We opted for the a la carte menu, although the set lunch menu was not unattractive - but we were in no rush. The amuse bouche, choice of starters and main courses reflect the French influenced but heartily meat focused culture of the Swiss German diet. Excellent tartare, outstanding calves liver with a light and crisp Rösti. Really good wine list and some excellent Swiss Merlot from the Mendrisiotto.

We had a wonderful experience. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. It was very small and the staff were very attentive to our needs. The wine and food was delicious. They also provided a tasty starter and ended with the traditional Basel cookies. We would definitely recommend it if you are in Basel. It was also an easy walk from the tram stop.

Despite living in the area for 10 years we had never seen this restaurant before, my husband happened to see something about it online. We were so pleased he did! It was without doubt the best meal we’ve had in any restaurant in the area. Both the food and the service were outstanding. The outside seating area was lovely. A great find, and we will definitely return.

A great cozy place for dinner in the old part of Basel. Great food with a friendly and competent service. Two thumbs up!! They also have a very good wine list with reasonable prices and many half bottles in their selection. We had a great time!

Fantastic little restaurant. The food was really great and after covid lockdown it was the perfect location to eat again and celebrate our anniversary. They even managed to accommodate my girlfriends food intolerances and made it a great experience for her as well.
