A small restaurant run by a creative chef who is clearly committed to his art, and who makes frequent forays out of the kitchen to talk to his customers (in English if necessary). His front-of-house colleague works very hard to keep everything in order in the restaurant. We chose the pescatarian tasting menu, and all the courses were enjoyable - from the flambeed oyster to the pre-dessert inspired by the chef's memories of strawberry jam in his childhood. The restaurant is comfortable and quite intimate. Our only criticisms are the intrusive background music (unnecessary anyway, but also out of synch with the atmosphere of the restaurant) and the fact that the room was not quite warm enough.

+5Stefano is an excellent chef. It was a wonderful evening with many amazing discoveries. We were surprised that his restaurant still does not have any stars. Two days before our visit, we were in another starred restaurant in Venice, and I can definitely say that the starred restaurant lost in terms of food and service. We wish Stefano and his team success and new interesting achievements!

The flavours and presentation of the courses was outstanding. A must when you visit Padua. The staff were fantastic.

We spent 8-days in Padova and came here twice. It’s the best food we had and the best service. We enjoyed talking to the chef and hearing his story on how he got started. We will come again.

We have been travelling for two and a half weeks in Italy, mostly in Emilia Romagna, and this was unquestionably the best, tastiest and most original food we have had. Every dish was exquisite, and the service could not have been more personal and charming. Our hats off to Stefano and his assistants!

The entire evening was wonderful. The food was delightful mixtures of flavors we hadn’t experienced before and the artful application of smoke was Devine. We would highly recommend and will go back next time we pass through!

The food, service and atmosphere were above exceptional. This is a gem of a restaurant. Everyone we encountered, including the chef/owner went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This restaurant should be granted a Michelin star. If in Padova, go to this pace

Amazing experience last night. The food and wine pairing were excellent. Stefano and his team went beyond and above to accommodate my husband's allergy. I can not recommend them enough.

First of all, the service was impeccable! The dishes though were some hits and a lot of misses. The risotto was undercooked and crunchy!

We were greeted at the door by Stefano himself. Very friendly, very welcoming. We had a tasting menu- each course was meticulously prepared. The flavours combined beautifully with the barbecue/smoke that is a trademark at this restaurant. Excellent wine list.

Rear find! Chief is young talanted gentelman who is very hands-on and talking to customer explaining and presenting his smoked/grilled tasting menu ideas, very exciting food experience it is! Waitress lady is charming, very attentful and great service. Do reccomend if you wish some fresh view and not everyday pasta
