Beautiful view from the window table, fun live music and outstanding service and staff. The food is tasty and a nice menu selection. The sea bass was tender and fluffy very well seasoned.

While the restaurant’s location and initial impression are quite appealing, the details don’t hold up. Tables are sticky or worn, and it feels like a backdrop for social media rather than a fine dining experience. The food looks good but doesn’t match the price—my Beef Filet, for instance, was too tough. Even basic service faltered: when I requested to chill warm water, I was told they couldn’t, offering only ice. For a place that aims to be top-tier, it just doesn’t deliver.

We had certainly eaten better at this restaurant! The price of food does not match quality. S Service was great! Our waiter was attentive. The sommelier on the other hand was perhaps in training and did not communicate about the chosen wine! Ambience there these extremely bright heating lamps when turned on one feels it directly on the face and in the eyes. The Manager explained that they would have to turn it on and off to accommodate patrons in the room. It is too bad a better solution was not thought off! Sound system that evening was a little bit of a disaster. Could not hear the singer so no idea how good or bad she may have been.

The food was fine, but a bit overpriced and underwhelming. The real issue came when it was time to pay the bill. We were at dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and one of our children wanted to hand my credit card to the waiter to avoid my having to know the cost of the celebration. The waiter never mentioned that a service charge was included in the bill for a party of five, and my daughter added an additional tip. My wife opted to review the check, and that’s when she caught the issue. While management was willing to refund our additional gratuity, the included service charge is something that should have, and always should be disclosed when our server initially presented the check.

We always bring visitors here for a lovely meal and enjoy the sights of the river. The service is always wonderful and friendly. The lobster salad is one of our favs but you can't go wrong with any entree. We will definitely keep coming back!

The service is polite but not exactly attentive – often slow, if not very slow. The atmosphere is pleasant, though the music is rather loud and the sheer size of the room creates quite a bit of noise. The food, however, is disappointing and overpriced: easily 50% higher than some Michelin-recommended restaurants. The slow-cooked cod is decent, but nowhere near the incomparable version of Chef Luis Calei. Worth stopping by for a cocktail, perhaps, but otherwise best avoided. An overpriced tourist trap.

The food was ok. Al thought I found a hair in my food. Unacceptable. They were nice and handled it properly. Unfortunate I would say. Otherwise the place is lovely.

The dining experience is incredible , the owner personally serves with warmth and genuine care. This one on one attention makes the meal feel incredibly special and personal . We arrived for our reservation, was told to wait a few minutes as they were getting the table ready (even though there were free tables) No one approached us for 20 minutes so we decided to walk out.

I’ve been to SUD multiple times and it’s more disappointing each time. Price food quality is very bad. Drinks are a bit better but nothing special. Great view and location but definitely not worth the price.

The host was excellent and did a fantastic job of welcoming us. The food was good and the ambiance was marvelous. The server was pleasant and did a nice job until he served our meal. After serving our meal, he didn’t once come back to check on us nor did anyone else in the restaurant. We waited 40 minutes before we had to ask someone to help us with the check. When we asked to speak to the manager, the staff didn’t know what to do. That is unacceptable in a restaurant of this caliber. With service like this, the Sud is sure to fail in the long run.
