The food was flavorful and well balanced. The wine recommendation was superb. The service was excellent. Would highly recommend a visit. It is one of the best Indian meals I’ve ever eaten, and as a Pescetarian, I’ve eaten a lot of Indian food.

A great place to eat in Lisbon, the foods, staff, decor and location were all a perfect way to end a day.

The food and the table service was amazing. However, it didn’t leave us a good impression that they didn’t show us the bill at the end and just ask for 72 euros (we calculated it was 51 euros total with the 20% on food). They came back with an invoice and it was 59,xx euros… they ad tips automatically. We paid it, but we were frustrated on the tactics to get more money. It’s sad because the food and experience was very good before that. So just be aware of this if you choose this restaurant.

Absolutely ravishing is this place. The food is lip smacking and the service is top notch! Can't recommend this enough. Make it a MUST visit when you are in Lisbon. Love it totally and it's truly truly authentic Indian.

+12Very good. Swaagat is a staple in the extensive Indian food list of restaurants in Lisbon and, in particular, downtown. Visited on a friday, lunchtime, and the restaurant was almost empty. The staff was extremely polite and caring throughout the meal. I had a mug of beer, a chicken samosa with choice of 3 sauces and chicken tandoori with white rice, curry sauce on the side and garlic naan. While it took a while to cook (close to 20 minutes) the food was spot on. Lightly spiced, generous portion sizes (see the photos below) and cooked just well enough, i couldn't be more satisfied with the dish. The restaurant is beautiful inside and the staff is welcoming. They even offered to wrap the leftovers of my food so i could take it home, for which i was very thankful. If you're going through the Fork just be aware that you may have to 'remind' them to apply the discount in the end. But, all things considered, it's a good restaurant that delivers what it promises and doesn't cost a f

Incredibily delicious!!, We had 2 vegetables meals and one prawns curry. I've tasted the best garlic cheese Nan bread in Lisbon. The restaurant is amazing, colorful decorations and curated details in the center. The staff is super nice and caring. we definitely loved our dinner and can't wait to come back 😁

The food and ambience was amazing! Ravi our waiter suggested I try a mixed dish curry which came with its own naan bread and rice pudding. It was perfect. The pashwari was the best we had tasted. We will be back...

We came over for a late lunch after arriving in Lisbon. The chicken lollipops were so delicious that we had to order a second order. The mixed grill was also very tasty - my kids finished it all up. We also ordered a chicken vindaloo, saag paneer, another chicken dish, and a prawn dish. We were told the vindaloo was going to very spicy but we found all the dishes relatively mild so wish we had asked them to make the dishes extra spicy for us. Flavors were wonderful though and service was very attentive. We would highly recommend.

Visited this Indian restaurant and was thoroughly impressed! The ambience was unique and beautifully themed around Indian culture — from the décor to the music, everything added to a warm and authentic atmosphere. The food was simply amazing, with rich flavors that truly captured the essence of home-cooked Indian meals. Every dish tasted fresh and carefully prepared. The staff were courteous and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for genuine Indian hospitality and authentic cuisine!

The service was impeccable and the staff both attentive and polite. Ambience is super for those sat outside and is provided by the pedestrianised road on which the restaurant sits. We'd reserved an outside table but none where available when we arrived on time. However, an outside table was made available to us within five minutes. We sat down to dine at 8.05pm and did not feel rushed (the restaurant was very busy by then) for the entire evening. However, I did note that some diners received their main course very soon after finishing their starters. My partner is vegetarian and she very much enjoyed her food. I like my food seasoned well but felt that my starters and main where over-salted, even for my palate. All in all, a very pleasant experience.
