10/10Fantastic last meal in Amsterdam. Start to finish, it was fantastic. Great vibe inside. Order the stew - you won’t regret it. The apple pie dessert with cinnamon ice cream was heavenly. Best of all was Julian. He was so welcoming and engaging - one of many reasons to return. If we had an extra night, we would have returned. Eat here!

10/10This authentic Dutch restaurant is well worth a visit. The food choice had something for everyone and the prices were reasonable. Service was quick and friendly. I would definitely recommend you book yourself table whilst in Amsterdam.

10/10First night in Amsterdam and I had made a reservation before we arrived. Our plane was a little late so I called and they were very accommodating. The staff was amazing, food very delicious (wanted to make sure to try local fare!), and the space quaint and cute. We loved it and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

6/10We are used to having great fries in Belgium and The Netherlands. But here they were likely from frozen fries, not crispy, even soggy. When mentioned to the waiter, he was insulted and said that "our fries are not crap" which unfortunately they were.

10/10This restaurant is one of those gems that are hard to find these days. Cooking is flavorful with a varied menu with many excellent choices. Service is superb with friendly, knowledgeable, laid back and accommodating folks. The atmosphere is equally warm and inviting. We went 2 nights in a row. Did I mention that 2 persons can eat with wine for under 100euros?

9/10This restaurant was a special find. We enjoyed dinner our last night in Amsterdam. My wife enjoyed the stamp pot and I enjoyed the pork loins with salad and fries.

10/10I chose this restaurant after I learned that my original choice was closed on Monday. It did not disappoint. It was Dutch cooking at its best. Comfort food. I had Oma’s Beef stew. Delicious . The service was first rate and the decor was wonderful, down to the oriental carpet table cloths.

10/10We ordered the Grandma's beef stew, stammpot and grilled trout. The beef stew and stammpot were so good! Nothing to shout about with the grilled trout. Great service as well, lovely local spot. Reservation's important as it gets full and we saw them turning people away.

5.5/10Based upon previous reviews my husband and I were looking forward to our dinner at Zwaantje. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We enjoyed our appetizer which was excellent, but then waited 45 minutes for our main dishes to be served. We were told our waiter forgot to notify the kitchen when we had finished our appetizer. My husband ordered the beef stew which was very good. I had ordered the Chef’s special, duck in a mushroom cream sauce. When served the sauce was cold, so the waiter took it back to the kitchen. When it was returned to me the sauce was hot, unfortunately the duck was overdone and tough. Besides apologizing and stating that he would advise the chef, the waiter did nothing to remedy the immediate issue. This was our last evening in Amsterdam and we left as unhappy customers.

10/10Very accommodating staff to our family with a cranky toddler. We left early only bc it was obvious the toddler was tired. If not we would have stayed and enjoyed longer of this nice restaurant. There’ll be a next time and can highly recommend anyone. Truly excellent service and quality food in a cozy “gezellig” environment!! 10-stars from us!

10/10Authentic Dutch food! Just delicious. Very welcoming and personable staff. They made a very memorable evening for us. Highly recommend. Delicious pea soup, stampout, trout and tenderloin! Have the vanilla icecream with chocolate sauce for dessert with a Hennessey’s.

10/10Nice cosy Dutch restaurant specialising in Dutch food in the Jordaan. Food was excellent as was the service and price, my only small critique is for big guys like me it’s a bit cramped but that in no way detracted from a nice experience.

9.5/10Amazing waitpersons - they go way over and above. Hearty and delicious traditional Dutch cuisine in a charming setting. My daughter was obsessed with the meatball that came with her stamppot and our waitperson sent her home with an extra one. Highly recommend!

10/10Found this restaurant through trip advisor Group of 7 of us, food was fantastic everyone enjoyed their meal. Great menu and staff and very reasonable prices. You will definitely need to book as they were turning away walk ins all evening

10/10Took three tries to get a reservation but it was worth it. True Dutch hospitality. Cozy interior , very friendly an knowledgeable staff. Excellent food , ample portions, not fussy just good faire. Also prices were reasonable considering quality and location.

8/10food was tasty and lovely with large portions. good taste of dutch cuisine for first timers. service was slow so might be best not to go if you're very hungry already. staff however were very accomodating and friendly.
