Very friendly staff and excellent meal last night. My husband had grandma’s stew and I had the creamy fish stew. We were pleased we had skipped a starter as the portions were huge! Both were delicious but sadly we had no room for apple pie dessert. Very reasonable at around €65 including a very nice bottle of Merlot.

Cozy atmosphere but the place didn’t look clean. Worn dirty looking carpet. Food was mediocre. Wait staff friendly. Overall disappointing

If you want authentic Dutch food and ambience, this is the place for you. We make reservations in advance and the restaurant was full. The Dutch food was delicious and the locals periodically broke out in songs that we didn’t understand. A fun experience.

The food was amazing, from the main course to the dessert. The only strange thing we saw … carpets on the tables instead of tablecloth. But the location, the staff and the service were great!

Very cute and accommodating. Don’t leave without ordering the apple pie and cinnamon ice cream. Definitely make a reservation.

Great location and ambience. The staff could not have been more friendly. We tried 4 entree’s and all of our choices were delicious. Dessert was also very nice. It was a very nice evening.

We had a marvelous dinner at ‘t Zwaantje. It was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. My husband had the trout and said it was cooked perfectly. Light and flaky. I had the traditional Dutch mashed potato with the meatball. It was delicious. Great staff. Great atmosphere.

Amazing and cozy vibe with absolutely delicious food. Service was quick and the waiters were very helpful. Teun was an amazing and very attentive, gave our group and many others amazing suggestions! Will def be coming back next time I’m in Amsterdam!

We wanted a traditional Dutch meal and this restaurant did not disappoint. Grandma’s beef stew was a large serving that would easily serve two. My husband had the fried mussels which he enjoyed and was different than a traditional steamed mussel dish. Service was friendly and our waiter was helpful in describing the dishes along with local beers. I booked our table weeks ago and was sure glad I did as the restaurant was packed!

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The service was excellent. The weight staff was attentive and very friendly. The food was delicious classic Dutch cooking. The portions were large large and the prices were excellent. All in all a wonderful experience 10 out of 10 rating.

Old school charm and ambiance. Exceptional service and food. Great value. If we return to Amsterdam we will return to ‘t Zwaantje!
