This was the first dinner in Lisbon and I picked it because it was 5 minutes from our hotel. It was wonderful! I had the pork cheek dish, family had the shrimp and risotto all were happy. Definitely book for a great dinner.

5/10The dishes had obviously been precooked and then reheated in their individual little pans..Result was overcooked and dry. After 2 weeks in Portugal am sad to say this was my worst meal

9.5/10A small cosy restaurant. The waiter who looked after us was very friendly and informative, he advised us on the wine and allowed us to taste two different ones before choosing . The food was delicious especially the seafood rice caldoso we ordered one pot and then a second it was so good .

We sat upstairs overlooking the main seating area and our waiter Luan was delightful and served us wonderful food and wine. We also visited with several other patrons and shared experiences. We would definitely go back when next visiting Lisbon.

10/10Traditional Portuguese taverna, outstanding staff. Black pork cheeks were amazing as were the prawns. Returned the following evening, dispite there being so many other places to eat.

9.5/10The service was very good. My husband had grilled sardines and I had garlic shrimp. Both were very reasonably priced and delicious. We had the Porto tasting and it was wonderful. I mentioned early in the evening that it was my birthday and they brought me dessert and sang to me. Highly recommend!

This little restaurant was a gem. Food was excellent and beautifully presented. The small dining room was very intimate and cheerful. Wait staff were a great help in making selections. Make reservations, there may still be a short wait.

10/10If you want great food served by welcoming staff in a friendly little restaurant, this is the place to go. We were recommended by our hotel and we weren't disappointed. A lovely mix of people of various nationalities, some of whom enjoyed chatting with other guests. Would go back any day.

10/10Beautiful authentic Portuguese meal. We shared a mixed starter and my husband had the shrimp and beef skewer, I had pork fillet in Taberna sauce. Service was excellent and the food was tasty with generous portions. I would happily recommend this restaurant to my friends

7/10Seems to be one of these Lisbon tourist-trap restaurants with a higher-priced menu ready to present us naive visitors! Food choices and prices on menu given didn't match menus we'd seen online nor in window of restaurant! Food was just okay, disappointing to be honest. Sister had cod risotto, I had a shrimp risotto. Both quite bland and also under-seasoned.

However, we think it is important that you know that our restaurant has been in existence for 10 years and we have a lot of respect for our customers, so we will never be a tourist trap restaurant or anyone else and this is supported by the great reviews we have here and abroad. platforms and many regulars who are local and appreciate good Portuguese food.

5/10Satisfactory food, although the prices are somewhat excessive for Portugal, considering the quality of the products. Upon our arrival, the reception was very impersonal despite my prior reservation, with an outdoor wait in the rain. No initiative was taken to temporarily seat me in the entrance while waiting for my table to become available. Once seated, we noticed that our table was positioned near a cabinet housing the electrical panel, which unfortunately caused several disruptions throughout the evening. Despite these incidents, our understanding led to our collaboration with the staff to resolve the electrical issues. However, after these inconveniences, we hoped for appropriate compensation. Nevertheless, no form of compensation such as coffee, dessert, or even a digestive was offered by the establishment. The apologies presented proved inadequate. Furthermore, at the time of payment, I had to personally take charge of the payment terminal, as the waitress was unable to do so. In summary, I do not recommend this restaurant if you are seeking attentive service. Even some fast-food establishments in Switzerland offer better customer service. Sincerely, Fabio

10/10Small and charming with authentic Portuguese food. Waitress was very helpful with menu selections and wines. It was perfect meal for 4 people sharing. We had 4 tapas and two entrees (rice with seafood and special pork dish - both amazing!) Lovely bottle of red wine from the Douro Valley. Would go back I. A heartbeat.

10/10Perfect neighborhood spot especially to get shared plates- we had the shrimp, octopus salad ( small portion) , bread, and large sardines plus desert - the large sardines were my favorite / very tasty and crispy and a large portion- would recommend but I’d probably get the warm lobster instead of the salad

10/10My wife and I shared two tapas dishes and each had a main. That was more than enough food. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is small 8 tables on the lower level and a few above the bar. Service was terrific and as a result we had a wonderful meal.
