This is our hotel restaurant, so the location was great for us, not too far to walk! The service, food and ambiance is great, being in an old fortress. Had a sharing board to start. Both had cod dishes, followed by dessert and coffee. All delicious. Would recommend.

6/10We were sitting inside which wasn’t very nice. The food wasn’t all that good . The service was good. They put an extra 10% service charge on the bill which I would agreed to but they didn’t ask if it was okey.

10/10Great food. Great ambiance (located in an old fort. Great service. Surprised only gets an 8.9 review. The bistec (steak) was smaller than usual but the quality of the meat was tear. The bacalhau de Brás was excellent. My kids loved the hamburger, the veggie soup and the desserts.

2/10We had a reservation for 8 PM, but our table wasn’t ready when we arrived. Since we had our dog with us, we chose to sit outside. Unfortunately, a DJ was blasting extremely loud techno music until 8:45 — not really what you expect when you come for dinner. We were hoping for a relaxed evening, not a mini rave. When the music finally stopped, they missed the chance to create a nice vibe with some background lounge music, leaving the atmosphere flat. We weren’t the only ones disappointed — several other guests were also complaining. The food was decent, but the service really lacked warmth and attention. It felt like hospitality wasn’t a priority. It’s a beautiful place with a lot of potential, but they really need to work on the basics: atmosphere and genuine service.

10/10The food was delicious. Very friendly staff. The setting in the Fortrezza was stunning. Such a beautiful square in an historical part of Cascais right next to the Marina. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and the facilities are immaculate. Sitting outside on the square was memorable and made of a lovely experience. Very good value and it was great to get the Fork discount!

10/10My friend and I have been to this restaurant a few times this year and really enjoyed it. The last time we were there it was a very hot day and we had two bottles of water. I was very disappointed to see the price of the water when we got the bill but aside from that, it was a great experience.

We were in this restaurant about half a year ago and everything was perfect. During this time the menu was fully changed to a "more Portuguese" one and became much worse. Steak was well cooked, but it didn't come with any sause and wasn't salted, fried egg on the top was overcooked. Tuna steak was very salty and the side dish was tasteless. Prawns costed 13 euros and there were 5 regularly cooked prawns, absolutely not worth it. Whiskey sour cocktail was okay, but also not worth the price. Overall, our second visit was very disappointing, please return everything like it was. Without theFork discount it would be a disaster for the requested price. Not recommended anymore.

10/10My friend and I both had the grilled octopus and it was cooked to perfection and was beautifully presented. It was the best grilled octopus that I’ve had. Our server, Marcos, was very attentive and helpful. I will definitely be going back.
