Very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant, only improved by super friendly staff. The food was just as good - we shared a Rijsttafel which was delicious. Would definitely return.

A small locale furnished with items of Tibetan origin. Some relatively old some recent. Food offers either 4 different rice tables or single items. Wonderful presentation. Great ingredients. Spicy in some cases. Warn if you have nut/peanut allergies because some sauces do have nut/peanut content. We stuck either the Indonesian menu. We’ll try the Tibetan menu next time. Overall s very positive experience. Highly recommended.

All dishes were delicious and portion sizes were good and not small as described in some reviews.Sometimes there is just too much food and can be overwhelming at rijstaffel restaurants. I regularly come to this restaurant and the food is really amazing. But the best part is the service. The waiters are so friendly and attentive, apart from being handsome and charming :-). They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. 10+ from me.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Amsterdam. The food is excellent and the waiters are so friendly, especially the guys. Both the Tibetan and Indonesian dishes are equally delicious.

I've been in Amsterdam for two weeks, and eaten out every night, sampling different cuisines. My dinner at Tashi Deleg was the best I've had....very different tastes than I've ever experienced, including an amazing homemade chili sauce. The service was very very good, I'm going back before I leave Amsterdam.

Tashi Deleg is a small restaurant that has proven it's quality for over a long time. The food is great and so is their service. It's combination of both Indonesian and Tibetan dishes is a joy and it's attractively priced. It's a lovely place where you would like to return to.

I wish I could say the visit was a nice meal, but actually it was an amazing gastronomical experience! Five stars all around. We went for the Tibetan Special Menu for 2 people and we love every single one of the dishes. Will definitely come back to try the other specials. Addicted!

We booked this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. Not having too much experience of Indonesian food, we were a bit cautious in ordering. The starters were amazing. The chicken sate skewers were incredible and the Tibetan potatoes (no.6 on the menu) also really tasty. The main courses though weren't great. Well flavoured but no sauce with either of them. My partners chicken was so spicy he couldn't eat it. We think it was just a case that we didn't order the right things. Never mind. However.....THE SERVICE WAS SUPERB. Such friendly staff. Almost worth it for them alone!!

Great service..great food..the Indonesian rice table for 2 people was excellent its 29 50 euros per person..but worth it..A little quieter last night than last Monday but we wanted to finish our last night in Amsterdam on a culinary high..and we did..Phil Webster..true blue Everton fan..what a last night!!!!!
