I went alone to have an Indonesian Ristaffel. I saw on the menu that the dishes were only prepared for 2 people. I expressed my disappointment to my waitress and she sent the manager to assure me he could prepare for me. The 8 dishes with rice were nice especially after I added some extra heat. It was a lot to eat but I enjoyed it very much.

First time to try this restaurant. It was good to have a choice of Tibetan and Indonesian cuisines and vegan options as well. Met the requirements of a vegan and a non-spicy duo in our group. Service was slower than we're used to and we had to remind twice about our orders for fried rice otherwise, the service staff were pleasant and helpful.

The food (Tibetan Veg plate) was great and plenty! Also the rice beer is something unusual and tasty!

The food was really really good!! The person who served us was very friendly and thoughtful. However, this place is NOT wheelchairfriendly (aposed to what theFork states in their filters!) and there is even a doorstep, so if I was not also able to walk, I could not have entered the building. The person who served the table behind me, kept walking into my wheelchair, since the restaurant is quite packed with tables (even though there was enough space to walk, he was just very uncareful!)

I have eaten at many restaurants in Amsterdam but this one is absolutely stunning. Calm energetic atmosphere & deliciously freshly made foods that actually nourish rather than fill. Much recommended!

We came to try a rice table for Christmas dinner and it was incredible! My husband and I loved everything and my pretty picky American kids loved lots of the less spicy dishes, the satay and the chicken soup. The service was fantastic and fast and it was so warm and fun. Totally recommend.

My colleagues had not had Rijstafel before - and we were not disappointed with the wonderful spread, which catered for those of us who are vegetarian as well as the meat eaters beautifully! Thanks for a memorable meal, sincere service and just a brilliant evening!

Nice table full of little tasty dishes in Indonesian style. Very friendly staff looks like friendly family of asian sisters and their brothers. Not too expensive. Fast service. Recommended!

The waitress explained everything and was very helpful. We went with the rice table for the 4 of us. It's probably one of our favorite places we've been in Amsterdam! Can't wait to go back!

One of the best Indonesian restaurants I've visit. My guests, who have never eaten Indonesian before were very impressed with the rijsttafel. The service was very good. Will visit again.
