10/10We saw this restaurant when we were walking back to our hotel. We saw it got good ratings so we thought we’d give it a try. It was easy to make a reservation online. We got there a little early and they seated us right away. The staff were very friendly and the chef even came out to talk with us and he made some recommendations for us. We had a salad and the pasta dishes and they were all very good. I would recommend this place. It’s a small, neighborhood restaurant with mostly locals coming in to eat and the owner seemed to know everyone who came in. This is the type of restaurant we like to eat in when we go on vacation. We want to eat where the locals eat, you get the best food and the freshest food.

10/10The two wonderful women that own and run this beautiful little gem of a restaurant are great at running both the front of the house and the kitchen. Best food in Rome! 10/10The owners of this restaurant are very hospitable and pay special attention to their guests. We felt very at home and were delighted with the quality of our meal. Everything is delicious. We would recommend to everyone looking for a nice quiet authentic Italian experience.

10/10Real authentic Italian restaurant in Rome. My girlfriend and I ate here twice in 3 nights. This is an old school spot ran by 2 awesome ladies, an amazing chef and their dog. Very nice, welcoming and funny owners. You can’t go wrong with any dish. Will definitely come back every time I visit Rome and would recommend to everyone.

3/10Vitello Tonnato was missing half the ingredients. Amatriciana was barely passable. Wine was fine but for some reason it was difficult to order and it came 20 minutes later. How is it difficult to order wine in Italy?

9.5/10Reservations required at this wonderful restaurant. The 2 ladies who own it are very nice, one speaks a little English the other almost none, but the food is exceptional. We had the homemade ravioli and roast beef, wine, and we each had a homemade dessert that was so good we decided to get tiramisu. Our meal was one of the best we had during our 2 week visit between Rome, Venice or Florence.

9.5/10+1We ate our Thanksgiving dinner here and it was absolutely wonderful. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, fresh and delicious. Some highlights were the vegetable soup, the wild boar and the pasta bolognese with amazing homemade pasta. Our server Antonio was attentive and provided excellent recommendations. We were in the lower level which was a little less charming than upstairs, but the only place for our large group.

10/10An amazing place, the one’s you want to keep as a family secret. The two ladies managing this taverna are so lovely and are serving an amazing and tasty food, with local receipts. Taste and happiness are just meeting and you can see it is not a tourist place as local are there as well to find a little place, just to enjoy the magic of Roma taste!

10/10This is one of my favorite restaurants in Italy. Actually we went there twice during our 3-day trip in Rome. We love the way they deal with meat (beef, fish, shell, etc.) -- tender but resilient, creamy/rich but not greasy, with fresh vegetables and the best vinegar. Miss it already and definitely will come next time.

9.5/10Charming place with reservations required because the food and atmosphere is excellent but not many tables. Communication limited with non English speaking staff, but menu in English helped. Highly recommend this place.

10/10We LOVED Taverna Ripetta, so much so that we returned for lunch the next day. We were greeted at the door by Mo, the owners’ dog, who clearly runs the show. The ambience created by the friendly and always-smiling owners is very welcoming; both for regulars and tourists. The prosciutto and melon is the best we’ve ever had, and we’ve had plenty. All of our dishes were excellent, and portions were perfect, even generous. We will certainly recommend Ripetta to any friends visiting Rome, and hopefully we will be able to return to enjoy it again.

10/10This restaurant and the two sisters who run it are a must-have experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the ambiance was so quaint. But the absolute best part was Fatima and Donatella (and their mascot MOE). Do yourself a favor and find this gem.

3.5/10Thought I was getting a wine list. Instead was brought a bottle of wine. Had no idea about the price. Prefer to choose my own. And they charge a cuperto. Most don’t anymore! Felt the 2 women were not friendly. Food was ok.

8/10Lovely very small restaurant with gracious owners. My pasta carbonara was delicious. The other guests at my table ordered sliced meat with tuna sauce that was a cold dish and they did not love it.

10/10One of the best dinning experiences we’ve ever had! This restaurant is owned by two very nice ladies and the food is absolutely amazing. You can tell that they care a lot about the quality and the taste of the food. They also have a cute dog who sometimes would take a nap by your table. We loved the ambiance and every dish we had!
