This place is just magical. From the small setting, to the 2 women running it, and THE FOOD, oh wow, the food — Taverna Ripetta is incredible! All other food we had while on our honeymoon in Italy quickly became measured up against Taverna Ripetta. We didn’t want our experience there to end. I hope my last meal on Earth can somehow come from this place. AMAZING!!

A small family gem. We had the eggplant ravioli and it was incredible! We also ordered the seafood pasta, which comes with a heaping amount of tender seafood.... just delicious. Reservation required... the place is tiny

The food and service at Taaverna beats most Michellin stared restaiurants in Rome. The food is outstanding and the value cannot be beat. If you eat here once you will never go elsewhere.

We saw this restaurant when we were walking back to our hotel. We saw it got good ratings so we thought we’d give it a try. It was easy to make a reservation online. We got there a little early and they seated us right away. The staff were very friendly and the chef even came out to talk with us and he made some recommendations for us. We had a salad and the pasta dishes and they were all very good. I would recommend this place. It’s a small, neighborhood restaurant with mostly locals coming in to eat and the owner seemed to know everyone who came in. This is the type of restaurant we like to eat in when we go on vacation. We want to eat where the locals eat, you get the best food and the freshest food.

The two wonderful women that own and run this beautiful little gem of a restaurant are great at running both the front of the house and the kitchen. Best food in Rome! Great service and a wonderful experience. This was our favourite last year, this year, and hopefully we will be back next year. Harry and Liz, Montreal

The owners of this restaurant are very hospitable and pay special attention to their guests. We felt very at home and were delighted with the quality of our meal. Everything is delicious. We would recommend to everyone looking for a nice quiet authentic Italian experience.
