Very lovely restaurant, food, service & atmosphere was beautiful! Mozarella app with tomatoes & vegetables, seared tuna & pork with mashed potatoes were outstanding along with the local wine. Be sure to try it!

Wonderful choice of fine wines. Ask for recommendation. We had an excellent Taurasi wine. Inspired local cuisine. Maybe too many perfumes on the plate. Ex: coffee, mustard and boletus. Sometimes a little too much. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The food was excellent, except for what I think were frozen calamari. The service and the ambience were lovely. Definitely recommended.

We were recommended this hidden gem by our hotel, and we were not disappointed. The setting and details in this beautiful former church were amazing. The quality of the food was second to none. It appears to be a family run business; intimate, welcoming and such a comfortable atmosphere.. It will definitely be on our list for our next visit!

Pros * We booked Santa Maria de Domno for Christmas day lunch through "The Fork", very easy with confirmation e-mails. * We had a slight concern after cancellation of our Boxing day restaurant so called in a couple of days before to be greeted by very friendly staff who confirmed all was ok and even checked dietary needs, * Christmas Day lunch was superb, brilliant staff and lovely food, couldn't fault it. * Lovely location in the centro storico of Salerno Cons * None really, apart from being closed when we wanted to go back !! ....... fully recommend this restaurant to "the fork" members. Located in the old center of Salerno, very nice restaurant. Cool Jazzmusic in the background. Very kind service. Excellent italien kitchen!!
