We were recommended this hidden gem by our hotel, and we were not disappointed. The setting and details in this beautiful former church were amazing. The quality of the food was second to none. It appears to be a family run business; intimate, welcoming and such a comfortable atmosphere.. It will definitely be on our list for our next visit!

Pros * We booked Santa Maria de Domno for Christmas day lunch through "The Fork", very easy with confirmation e-mails. * We had a slight concern after cancellation of our Boxing day restaurant so called in a couple of days before to be greeted by very friendly staff who confirmed all was ok and even checked dietary needs, * Christmas Day lunch was superb, brilliant staff and lovely food, couldn't fault it. * Lovely location in the centro storico of Salerno Cons * None really, apart from being closed when we wanted to go back !! ....... fully recommend this restaurant to "the fork" members. This is nouveau cuisine. It's not my favourite style of food. Make sure this is what you are expecting. The staff were very helpful. They are wine experts

Excellent food, presentation, and service in a beautiful setting. We had a lovely meal there on our holiday in Salerno. The seafood in particular is fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!
