8/10Perfect for a Parisian brasserie lunch before boarding the Eurostar. Great vibe, good food (loved the onion soup and moules frites, and house red) and friendly service. Could have been tacky given the location, but it’s really not and I got the impression that there were a number of locals there.

5.5/10The service was poor. Waiter was rude. Demanded a tip at the end. We had to ask for a jug of water. Food was good. Quite healthy cuisine and very well made. We did not have the wine we wanted. It was sold out.

7.5/10We didn’t like that the waiter didn’t explain that all starters in the menu are raw not cooked / we asked to cook the oysters but they said we can’t bcz we couldn’t eat it and alot of solid particles with it We liked the main dishes , very delicious ( the salmon , sea bass fillet and fish & chips ) The atmosphere was so nice and fine

8/10Had the grand seafood platter. Service is excellent, not pushy etc. Decor is iconic early C20. However the food is 8/10 simply because it could have been that tiny bit fresher and not iced. Like oysters should be live.

9/10This is always a wonderful place to eat, with marvellouse servie and ambience. On this occassion liver ordered rare came slightly more cooked (a little blackened), and was immediately taken back and replaced. Highly recommended

9.5/10We had a couple of hours to spend in Paris before catching the Eurostar back to London and I’d previously read a good review about the restaurant. We were not disappointed. I booked online as the TGV was approaching Gard de L’est and the staff had everything in hand. It was a very busy Sunday lunchtime but the service was superb. The four of us were very pleased with our choices. We didn’t attempt puddings as we were so full!

10/10Wonderful food and a real Parisian atmosphere. Yes there were lots of tourists (I’m a French resident) but it was right opposite the rain station so to be expected. I tried the house cocktail which was delicious, oysters, poached egg with morelle mushrooms and a steak. Everything cooked to perfectionnant nicely presented. They were very busy but also very professional. No problem being a solo dinner and I was not the only one.

6/10Great location, and the food was nice. Hoped to enjoy a couple of hours before our train departed. Ordered 3 soups and a tortileni to start and the waiter brought out 2 spoons, a few minutes later we realised he wasn't coming back so got his attention and pointed out we ordered 3 soups and a tortileni but he said we weren't able to change our order. When we complained he disappeared. Then came back with the wrong dish! No apology nothing. It was also really hot at the back of the restaurant, and they did manage to move us, but the food took so long to arrive we only just had time for the 2 courses before we had to leave (1.5 hours?). Anyway maybe this level of service is acceptable to Parisians, but we won't be back.

9/10Fantastic place to take my wife for our first anniversary. Relaxed atmosphere with wonderful food. English speaking staff helped a lot but our actual waiter looked like he couldn't wait to finish his shift.

9/10The food was very good. The sevice was 100 %. However, two waiters arguing next to our table was a big NO NO! This should never happen. Domestic issues should not be displayed in front of paying custimers. .................... ..... The,"120 character" rule is very very stupid ! Bla bla bla bla ... 120characters ? Ohno, not yet ! More blabla bla bla. I will never write another review for The Fork. This is firkin silly !

6/10We went to the restaurant because the reviews were pretty good on trip advisor. The kir royals were good., the fries and mussels were cold. The French onion soup was mediocre. My husbands steak was also cold. It is a convenient location to train station.

10/10This was the very best lunch I’ve had in all of Paris! The avocado shrimp cocktail with grapefruit was so delicious. The steak I had was cooked to perfection. The staff was professional, friendly, and efficient. I would go back a thousand times!

7/10Disappointing. We have eaten there on several occasions and the food and service have always been excellent. On Friday evening at 21.30 the restaurant was less than half full, so lacking in atmosphere, and the service was very slow. It took at least 20 minutes to get our first drink and although the food was good the service was very slow. We had two courses (a starter and main), no dessert or coffee and we were in the restaurant for two hours. There may have been a shortage of staff due to Covid and hopefully things will improve. Besides the lack of atmosphere due to many empty tables, the very bright lights did not help. Although I want to have sufficient light to be able to read the menu I feel that dimming some of the overhead lights would create a much better atmosphere in which to dine.
