Very good food and great & friendly service. Was a bit hesitant when I entered the restaurant because of its size and proximity to the railway station but that didn’t influence the professionalism of food served and service received. Would go back to eat again

I was nervous it would be too touristy but the ambience was lovely and the food was good and excellent (snails a little chewy but duck fabulous!). As a place to eat before you catch your train home it definitely felt part of the Parisian experience rather than just a tourist trap. I would return

Perfect for a Parisian brasserie lunch before boarding the Eurostar. Great vibe, good food (loved the onion soup and moules frites, and house red) and friendly service. Could have been tacky given the location, but it’s really not and I got the impression that there were a number of locals there.

The service was poor. Waiter was rude. Demanded a tip at the end. We had to ask for a jug of water. Food was good. Quite healthy cuisine and very well made. We did not have the wine we wanted. It was sold out.

We didn’t like that the waiter didn’t explain that all starters in the menu are raw not cooked / we asked to cook the oysters but they said we can’t bcz we couldn’t eat it and alot of solid particles with it We liked the main dishes , very delicious ( the salmon , sea bass fillet and fish & chips ) The atmosphere was so nice and fine

Had the grand seafood platter. Service is excellent, not pushy etc. Decor is iconic early C20. However the food is 8/10 simply because it could have been that tiny bit fresher and not iced. Like oysters should be live.

This is always a wonderful place to eat, with marvellouse servie and ambience. On this occassion liver ordered rare came slightly more cooked (a little blackened), and was immediately taken back and replaced. Highly recommended

We had a couple of hours to spend in Paris before catching the Eurostar back to London and I’d previously read a good review about the restaurant. We were not disappointed. I booked online as the TGV was approaching Gard de L’est and the staff had everything in hand. It was a very busy Sunday lunchtime but the service was superb. The four of us were very pleased with our choices. We didn’t attempt puddings as we were so full!

Wonderful food and a real Parisian atmosphere. Yes there were lots of tourists (I’m a French resident) but it was right opposite the rain station so to be expected. I tried the house cocktail which was delicious, oysters, poached egg with morelle mushrooms and a steak. Everything cooked to perfectionnant nicely presented. They were very busy but also very professional. No problem being a solo dinner and I was not the only one.
