We had an absolutely wonderful evening at The Local Bistro. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—our waiter was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The food exceeded all expectations. The French onion soup was simply the best we’ve ever had, rich and full of flavor. The beef tournedos with pepper sauce was cooked to perfection, paired with truly exceptional French fries—the best we’ve tasted. The red wine selection was also excellent and complemented the meal beautifully. Everything about this experience was top-notch. Highly recommended if you’re in Zandvoort! 🍷✨

Service spot on. Food excellent. Even though a quiet evening the ambience was very good. With many restaurants to choose from, particularly when the beach bar season has started, this local gem is worth a visit. We’ve lived in the area for 3 years and with many choices in Haarlem and Zandvoort it’s taken a while to visit. However, will definitely be back regularly. Good food and wine selection. Very worth a visit.

The Food was excellent. Unfortunately the service was a little bit slow in the beginning, because only one waiter was working. Towards the end the service got better! All in all a very good experience!

+1The food was very tasty and beautifully presented. Overall, the French cuisine here is very good and definitely worth a visit. We had the dishes of the day, once fish and pasta.

Just the best off menu seasonal dishes. I had the Deer steak and it was delicious, perfectly cooked and beautifully dressed in a heavy berry jus. This is Zandvoorts finest dining experience hands down for low key gastronomy and the finest dining.

We really enjoyed our dinner at the local bistro. Food, Service and location was really nice and cozy. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the food. The fish and pasta were excellent. One of the best spots to eat in Zandvoort.

Lovely restaurant with decent ambiance and marvelous food. My only negative comment would be lamb not having much lamb flavor which for me a negative experience but for some others might be a very positive experience.

Absolutely fabulous meal and service. Made even more enjoyable by being first meal after latest lockdown lifted. Despite the extended break the staff were excellent, the restaurant was full and the enjoyment from all was tangible

A really nice and cosy restaurant with just two people cooking and serving. But you can see and taste in their dishes that they really love their job! Every single plate - from soup to dessert - was really brilliant, so The Local Bistro gets full points, even the pricing is fair. It's a must when visiting Zandvoort!

one of the best places to get meal in Zandvoort. Cozy place and atmosphere. I can recommend starters and a "vis van de dag".

Small and cosy restaurant located not far from the station. Meal is good and tasty. Chef is a nice smiling lady, waiters are friendly and are ready to advice you the best dishes of the restaurant.

The atmosphere is very cozy, the service good and the food very tasty. We had as a starter an onion soup an the steak tatar, as a main course shrimps with potatoes, fries and beans. Delicious!

Dogfriendly and nice food! We had our dog with us and it was absolutely no problem. The waiter and the cook were very courteous and friendly. I ordered a grilled fish filet without sauce and it was served like I wished.

Cute place in Zandvoort, friendly and helpful staff. We were told the sole dish was large so my friend and I decided to share. The waiter informed the chef and she kindly created two plates for us with the one sole. Top marks for service!
