We had an absolutely wonderful evening at The Local Bistro. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—our waiter was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The food exceeded all expectations. The French onion soup was simply the best we’ve ever had, rich and full of flavor. The beef tournedos with pepper sauce was cooked to perfection, paired with truly exceptional French fries—the best we’ve tasted. The red wine selection was also excellent and complemented the meal beautifully. Everything about this experience was top-notch. Highly recommended if you’re in Zandvoort! 🍷✨

Service spot on. Food excellent. Even though a quiet evening the ambience was very good. With many restaurants to choose from, particularly when the beach bar season has started, this local gem is worth a visit. We’ve lived in the area for 3 years and with many choices in Haarlem and Zandvoort it’s taken a while to visit. However, will definitely be back regularly. Good food and wine selection. Very worth a visit.

The Food was excellent. Unfortunately the service was a little bit slow in the beginning, because only one waiter was working. Towards the end the service got better! All in all a very good experience!

Just the best off menu seasonal dishes. I had the Deer steak and it was delicious, perfectly cooked and beautifully dressed in a heavy berry jus. This is Zandvoorts finest dining experience hands down for low key gastronomy and the finest dining.

We really enjoyed our dinner at the local bistro. Food, Service and location was really nice and cozy. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the food. The fish and pasta were excellent. One of the best spots to eat in Zandvoort.
