The Marina was a great place for a family lunch - great food and service in spacious, clean and modern surroundings. We took our waiters recommendations and were not disappointed! The sea bass was some of the best fish any of us had ever tasted!! Thankyou Marina team!!

Very friendly Service, pretty good wines and excellent food. We had the monkfish rice and the monkfosh kebap, large portion, good quality. For 2 with wine and Coffee we paid 52 Euro, with the great Fork Discount.

The restaurant was really nice and modern and there were some good options on the menu. The food was average for most parts although the monkfish and prawns skewers were really tasty so would recommend those. Try the Green Wine too as that was really refreshing and paired well with all the fish dishes. Service was patchy, plus all our starters came with our mains which probably explains the small delays too.

So. I ordered a starter, main, dessert and a bottle of wine. Everything (!) - meat, vegetables and fish were fresh, excellent quality and well cooked. And the cooking recipes were original, it was not just a grill. And I ate such baked potatoes in my childhood. In addition, a pleasant and spacious room. All the staff were awesome.

The place is modern and a bit noisy but overall ok. We did have to wait a long time till we got the staters. As main course we did have the grilled Dorade. The fish was fresh and well grilled but totally over salted and impossible to eat. The cook came to our table and was very angry. He did say this is how it has to be. No understanding no excuse. We ended up paying the whole bill of 70 Euros !!! For no eatable food. A big disappointment. The girl serving us was very nice but this place was a bad experience and is a complete NO GO !!!

Dear Customer, in a view of what happened, we regret that you did not like it. As you might guess, our cuisine is traditional Portuguese and very well prepared. For that reason, we have a good rating from other customers. The delay is because all our dishes are made at the moment and in a crowded room orders are made on a first-come, first-served basis and you were one of the last to arrive, obviously you had to wait your turn. You complained about the salty soup, when we served more than 20 soups that day, and we only got compliments. Next, a fried shrimp, which was also salty, and finally a golden seabream, which was very salty according to his assessment. We are aware that the sea bream is cooked only salted and grilled. We are sorry that you do not enjoy Portuguese cuisine. Regarding paying for the meal, nothing justifies not having to do so. Nothing was salty. I advise you, when you visit a restaurant again, tell the waiter that you are intolerant to salt.

Very good restaurant, the food was delicious, and the service was good as well. We absolutely loved the clams (ameijoas), the sauce was so tasty, some of the best clams we've had. The dourada was also very good, and the seafood pasta as well. Overall a great experience, thank you!

A wonderful place! My husband and I shared the clams - they were delicious. I had lulas and he dourada - both perfectly cooked and very tasty. The sides were equally as tasty. Excellent food! The service was fabulous too. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and insightful. We gained new insights about Portuguese culture, and we aren't new to Portugal! We will definitely return before our trip to peniche is over. And would highly recommend to all that enjoy beautifully cooked Portuguese food and friendly service!
