We had a fantastic lunch at the Mix. It’s located in the Farol Hotel which is a beautiful location. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

+1I have been to this restaurant several times. Everything is perfect including food, environment and service. The food is tasty. It would be perfect if the food is less salty.

We have an excellent meal at the Mix before but our second time we were disappointed and surprised at the experience. There was a large party in a banquet room going on so the staff seemed very distracted. They forgot my son't beverage order, which never came, and eventually after 1 hour of waiting my other son's food order which they forgot to put in. I ordered the signature entrecôte dish which arrived cold. Cold meat and lukewarm warm french fries are disappointing. The manager apologized and offered complementary desert. Everyone was very pleasant but I think the large party really through them off and if this was our only visit I would never go back. We will probably give one more try becuase the view is magnificent and the food can be very good.

The service is certainly 5 stars, welcoming but smooth, the food was excellent, We ate fish soup, sashimi, that was very good, and the rice with pineapple and shrimps, also very tasty Le créme Brulée. I personally liked the restaurant décor, but can understand if it is not for every taste. The price is indeed a bit steep, but with the fork festival promotions, ended up being adequate. No complaints whatsoever.

First visit to Cascais after a walk along marina saw the hotel Farol on the Water - The Mix within - had beautiful views across the sea! Greeted by excellent staff - lovely table clear views. Mediterranean inspired menu - upmarket presentation but reasonable prices - steak tornados €24 …. wine €39. Had a relaxed lunch - recommend

In a gorgeous seaside hotel in Cascais, The Mix is a lovely find for a lovely and leisurely lunch. Food was very good and we even had the option to order off of the sushi menu as well as the The Mix's menu. Service was polite and attentive but not overbearing. A real treat, but at a price.

Came to reservation at 8pm, ended up getting the main at 1130pm. Horribly slow service. Over priced for tiny servings. Glad they had good bread to compensate a little.

Underwhelming experience. The food was a basic buffet food and service was sub standard. No waiters walking around clearing plate and asking you what you need. The place is very nice.

Location and hotel were spectacular, views were sublime. Food, service and ambience were fantastic. A winner indeed!

The restaurant is well placed with a fantastic sea view! The variety on the menu was good and food portions were generous. Only reservation was it got quite warm and some sea breeze would be lovely. Overall a great dining experience. Highly recommended and we’ll be back!!

Food was average, we had to send the main dish back as it was not properly cooked, wine suggestion was ok but pushed us towards one of thre most expensive wines on the menu, which clearly was not necessary in view of the overall quality. We also never were offered a wine selection list just a verbal advise from a walking Sommelier

Excellent service and staff. Delicious food , the fish and the sushi. Only had one comment that we were a group of 5, the restaurant was not busy, 4 or 5 tables the whole night but the. one group of 5 people were seated next to us who were very loud.

Nice setting and restaurant but I made the mistake of booking my anniversary dinner in a hotel - I should know better! Lots of young guests and just a setting that kills a romantic dinner .
