6.5/10We have an excellent meal at the Mix before but our second time we were disappointed and surprised at the experience. There was a large party in a banquet room going on so the staff seemed very distracted. They forgot my son't beverage order, which never came, and eventually after 1 hour of waiting my other son's food order which they forgot to put in. I ordered the signature entrecôte dish which arrived cold. Cold meat and lukewarm warm french fries are disappointing. The manager apologized and offered complementary desert. Everyone was very pleasant but I think the large party really through them off and if this was our only visit I would never go back. We will probably give one more try becuase the view is magnificent and the food can be very good.

10/10The service is certainly 5 stars, welcoming but smooth, the food was excellent, We ate fish soup, sashimi, that was very good, and the rice with pineapple and shrimps, also very tasty Le créme Brulée. I personally liked the restaurant décor, but can understand if it is not for every taste. The price is indeed a bit steep, but with the fork festival promotions, ended up being adequate. No complaints whatsoever.

10/10First visit to Cascais after a walk along marina saw the hotel Farol on the Water - The Mix within - had beautiful views across the sea! Greeted by excellent staff - lovely table clear views. Mediterranean inspired menu - upmarket presentation but reasonable prices - steak tornados €24 …. wine €39. Had a relaxed lunch - recommend

10/10In a gorgeous seaside hotel in Cascais, The Mix is a lovely find for a lovely and leisurely lunch. Food was very good and we even had the option to order off of the sushi menu as well as the The Mix's menu. Service was polite and attentive but not overbearing. A real treat, but at a price.

4/10Came to reservation at 8pm, ended up getting the main at 1130pm. Horribly slow service. Over priced for tiny servings. Glad they had good bread to compensate a little.
