We were looking for authentic Italian cuisine, and that is exactly what we found here! The dishes were delightful, and my penne with sausage was exactly what I was looking for! I would highly recommend and hope they never lose their authentic charm.

We celebrated NYE 2025 at Trattoria 13 Gobbi. This was our second time dining there. We booked the fixed menu which included 5 courses and wine, along with a bottle of champagne to toast. Our waiter, Massimo, also served us at both visits. He is professional, friendly, funny and made our evening perfect!! Thank you!

You must reserve your sheet. Choose A beef T bone stake. The taste exactly exceeds the taste of the Peter Luger in NY. Price level may be almost same. Enjoy the typical taste of Firenze. Enjoy!

The touted Florentine Steak for two (1 inch + thick) was cooked well (could have been better seasoned with salt) but inferior quality - my estimation was that it was not even equivalent to UDSDA Select and cost € 74. Sides were on the pricey side as well spinach €7, potato €7 and so on. Overall, a disappointing meal at a supposedly famous and well-regarded restaurant in Florence (perhaps the staff thought that foreigners (particularly Americans) are not good judges of quality.

First off the food is fantastic, the signature dish, rigatoni is a must have!! The ambiance and service could not be better! The staff friendly servers are great! Once we found this restaurant 3 years ago, it’s must eat at restaurant on our list when in Florence and this year we’ve been here for three months, This should be on your list also!

We first visited in 2022 and it was very welcoming with delicious food. We had 2 meals there lunch and dinner. We recommended to some friends recently who were staying in Florence. Unfortunately last night the service let the restaurant down. The Waiters were not as they were before. Took 15 mins for wine to come once ordered. Cold hard bread with having to ask for olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The bill came charging us for 4 covers instead of 2. Disappointing - sadly we won’t visit again.

Delicious food. Great staff and wonderful service. Very popular there were queues out of the door!! Recommend booking but also to turn up before your time as you wait outside to be seated - so felt like an almost first come first served. Keep that in mind but it’s 100% worth the wait.

Nice tucked away restaurant with lovely ambience. Food was good but not excellent, eg roast potatoes ordered as an extra were only just warm. We were a table for two but noticed on the bill we were cheekily charged for four cover charges! Restaurant duly removed the 9 extra euros, but tourists beware!

Can’t give this restaurant more praise the ambience is fabulous. The food is fabulous we have visited twice in 2025 and both times fabulous. We come from Scotland and will be coming back in February and will book in in advance for our Saturday special treat at Gobbi’s Do not believe the negative reviews book and enjoy. Bobby

Service was non-existent despite paying €4.50pp for service fee, they did not greet us or converse, they slammed the menus down as they walked past, same with our food, drinks & bill. We requested the bill twice, then they continued to ignore us until I waved them down to pay - it was clearly visible we wanted to pay then they sent us up to the till? Why are they charging such a high service fee.. The food was super disappointing, pasta was raw - like rock hard and roast potatoes were soggy and cold, bread was stale. We were also seated right next to the toilet despite having a reservation and plenty of free tables in nicer spots.

We have passed this restaurant a ton of times. Sad we didn’t go in. Food, service and atmosphere were first rate today. We loved it so much we are returning in 2 days. And we will return on future trips.

Best pasta we ate during our entire week long trip. The Boars meat one and rigatoni was fabulous. Service was incredible and the atmosphere was delightful too. Run to this restaurant ASAP and enjoy! Grazie mille !!

They claimed not to have our reservation. The quality of the food is awful, has gone downhill. The waiters are rude and only addressed my husband -archaic and old school. It’s basically the equivalent of any franchise restaurant that can be found across Canada or the US.
