10/10our waiter Massimo! service was over the top and food was delicious. I told him it was our last day in Florence. When he offered the dessert menu I asked what he suggested and he said he'd bring me something special...and he did! He also sent me over a shot of lemoncello! Love that man!

9.5/10I’ve dined here quite a few times and it does not disappoint. Food quality is very good, pleasant service, all in a classic atmosphere. No attitude here. I will return whenever I’m in Firenze.

5/10This was honestly really disappointing. We had heard about this spot all over social media and it just didn’t live up to the hype. The food was bland and just okay. The server pressured us to order quickly because there was a line outside and they wanted to turn tables. There are so many authentic and incredible restaurants in Florence and this is not that good.

10/10Recommended by a friend and did not disappoint! Seemed popular with tourists and locals alike. Incredibly charming interior and delicious food. There is a reason people come for their special rigatoni - simple but delicious and comforting; as was the boar ragu. Very busy so definitely make a reservation. Worth it!

6/10We personally weren’t blown away by this spot. I think this is a restaurant that has been hit hard by the TikTok world and truly doesn’t love foreigners but services (at least in my opinion) solely foreigners. I don’t recommend this spot and likely wouldn’t go back if I were in Florence.

3.5/10The restaurant came highly recommended but felt like a true tourist trap. The service was the worst I have ever had in my life and it completely ruined the experience. The waiter was extremely rude and not helpful at all. We asked for wine and he said rudely that there was the house wine and a wine list by the bottle. We were not sure if we wanted a full bottle, but wanted to take a look anyway. After we looked and decided to go for the house wine, he seemed very outraged and rudely said that he had already mentioned that the wine list was for bottles only - implying that we had wasted his time by making him get the list. Also, once he gave us the menu, he kept waiting by the table pressuring us to order immediately. Once again, quite uncomfortable and rude. He really did not make any effort to make the experience enjoyable. As to the food, it was average. The tiramisù was good, but again, the service ruined everything for us. Definitely not coming back and not recommending it to anyone. Finally, the copperto was 4,5 euros, as well as the water - which is quite absurd.

6/10Unfortunately we were not pleased with the service, as well as the quality of the food provided. Our waiter forgot our order and arrived back at our table 20+ minutes later to ask what we originally ordered. Not only this, but my partner's meal arrived cold. At the end of the meal we were asked to leave a tip which is not a customary practice in Italian culture. Overall the service was very poor and we will not be coming back.

3.5/10Really bad service and super low quality good, and they claimed that they had a problem with their connection and their machine wouldn’t work so we have to pay cash while they had WiFi and we were connected because we were there a few years ago. Was amazing a few years ago but really disappointed this time. Definitely won’t be back and do not recommend them. Not at all Italian standards of service or food. Very tourist rushed style, although it was empty.

3.5/10This restaurant was recommended to us by other fellow Travelers. Unfortunately, we did not have the same experiences as they did after waiting an hour for our meals we were told that the kitchen had run out of one of the dishes we ordered this information was given to us as one about other meals was presented on the table. We had to quickly make a decision about a replacement meal so well, one of us sucked and ate the meal that was prepared. The other person sat and waited. 20 minutes for the replacement to come. Both meals were planned, boring, and like taste.

2/10Went to this restaurant due to several recommendations from friends, but couldn’t be more disappointed. The disappointment started off when we got to the restaurant with a reservation for 21:30 and only got seated after talking to the (very rude) receptionist. Inside the restaurant the service was terrible, the staff seemed really lost and to be honest we felt bad for them because this restaurant felt like a typical trattoria which got famous and couldn’t keep up with the flow of tourists. We only got to order at 22:30 after begging for a waiter’s attention. The food was good but also nothing worth the waiting and the service. Maybe if they get a little more organized with reservations or hire more staff it could have potential.

10/10Definitely recommend Trattoria 13 Gobbi. We went with the sole purpose of trying the classic Bistecca alla Fiorentina and it did not disappoint - we got the portion for 2 and it was HUGE (and cooked perfectly). The melon with prosciutto, cheesecake, and crème caramel were all great. Our waiter was wonderful and so kind - we unfortunately didn’t get his name. From drinks, all the way through to dessert, we had a great experience, and it will be a meal we will remember for many years to come.

3.5/10Don’t waste your time!!!! We had a reservation and still waited an hour to sit. We were told to wait inside and that our table was going to be ready soon only for the host to give our table to someone else. Waiters kept walking by and saying we were in the way when we were just standing where she asked us to. We were finally sat at a still dirty table which we had to help clean. Our waiter came and didn’t speak to us and just threw down our napkins. We then waited another 20 minutes to order and were only able to order after we got up and asked someone if we could order. The food was good but not worth the horrible service. We then asked our waiter for the check as it was almost midnight and he proceeded to set all of the tables around us for the next day instead of giving us our check. We had to ask again and were finally able to pay and leave. Please don’t waste your time or money!! They also charge a service fee which is ridiculous considering we helped clean the previous person’s table!!

8.5/10We were at the back of restaurant with what seamed like the rest of the tourists. Our waiter was amazing. The Florentine steak and ossobuco were amazing. I would skip the pizza and pear salad.

3/10I got to this place and they didn’t want to seat me because i was alone. After asking to speak with the manager they sat me. I ordered the chicken and it got to the table before the wine, cold like the dish was already pre made or maybe someone returned it. who knows. I wasn’t in the mood to fight or complain anymore so i just paid my bill drank the wine and left. Absolutely not a place i will be back or recommend to anyone. There is so many great places in Florence to have amazing meals. 13 Gobbie is not one of them. Now if you are looking for cheap average food then be my guest.
