Everything was delicious and so fresh! Service was fantastic and the cheesecake for dessert was the best we ever had! Highly recommend this restaurant!

The food was delicious! Especially the spaghetti with clams and the tiramisu. The waiters were so kind and attentive. We had a lovely experience at Trattoria 13 Gobbi.

Food is amazing and not too expensive. Great space and environment. Really rude employee who ended up destroying the dinner and overall experience.

Michael made the experience amazing and his suggestions for each course were wonderful, from the artichoke salad to the rigatoni and of course the steak. We barely had room for dessert but the tiramisu was well worth it.

Atmosphere was great and what you would expect in an Italian restaurant. Service was excellent.

It's a bit formulaic. Food was nothing special, even their renowned Rigatoni was a bit meh. Just generally disappointed. If I'd known it was "big on Tiktok" (apparently!), we would have gone elsewhere.

We visited 13 Gobbi tonight with our family and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The food was marginal at best. The eggplant dish arrived tasting completely scorched and burnt — it was inedible for us. We spoke with a waiter and asked for it to be taken back because we could not eat it. However, when we later requested that it be removed from the bill, we were told that another staff member claimed the plate had been cleaned and that we needed to pay for it. That was simply not true. We did not eat it because it was terribly unpleasant. The service overall was poor. We were never even offered a wine menu, and the staff seemed disorganized and dismissive when we tried to address the issue. To make matters worse, the tiramisu was also disappointing. With so many incredible restaurants in Florence and throughout Italy, this was by far the worst dining experience we’ve had here. Social media (especially TikTok) may be trying to make this place famous, but a true joke!

We were looking for authentic Italian cuisine, and that is exactly what we found here! The dishes were delightful, and my penne with sausage was exactly what I was looking for! I would highly recommend and hope they never lose their authentic charm.

The eggplant parmigiana and steak were delicious. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. I’ll go back again.

We celebrated NYE 2025 at Trattoria 13 Gobbi. This was our second time dining there. We booked the fixed menu which included 5 courses and wine, along with a bottle of champagne to toast. Our waiter, Massimo, also served us at both visits. He is professional, friendly, funny and made our evening perfect!! Thank you!

You must reserve your sheet. Choose A beef T bone stake. The taste exactly exceeds the taste of the Peter Luger in NY. Price level may be almost same. Enjoy the typical taste of Firenze. Enjoy!

The touted Florentine Steak for two (1 inch + thick) was cooked well (could have been better seasoned with salt) but inferior quality - my estimation was that it was not even equivalent to UDSDA Select and cost € 74. Sides were on the pricey side as well spinach €7, potato €7 and so on. Overall, a disappointing meal at a supposedly famous and well-regarded restaurant in Florence (perhaps the staff thought that foreigners (particularly Americans) are not good judges of quality.

First off the food is fantastic, the signature dish, rigatoni is a must have!! The ambiance and service could not be better! The staff friendly servers are great! Once we found this restaurant 3 years ago, it’s must eat at restaurant on our list when in Florence and this year we’ve been here for three months, This should be on your list also!

We first visited in 2022 and it was very welcoming with delicious food. We had 2 meals there lunch and dinner. We recommended to some friends recently who were staying in Florence. Unfortunately last night the service let the restaurant down. The Waiters were not as they were before. Took 15 mins for wine to come once ordered. Cold hard bread with having to ask for olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The bill came charging us for 4 covers instead of 2. Disappointing - sadly we won’t visit again.

Excellent experience…the food the ambiance but most of all our server was wonderful. Friendly, and very involved in menu choices we are going back before going home. Steak was cooked to perfection

Delicious food. Great staff and wonderful service. Very popular there were queues out of the door!! Recommend booking but also to turn up before your time as you wait outside to be seated - so felt like an almost first come first served. Keep that in mind but it’s 100% worth the wait.

+1I studied abroad 13 years ago and loved going to trattoria 13 gobbi, we went back this year and it was everything I remembered. Highly recommend the rigatoni!
