Very rude waiter who would not allow us to order multiple dishes. It was our last meal in Italy and we wanted to have a 3 course meal. After the first person ordered he only allowed the second person to order a salad saying it was too much food. When the person tried to politely insist he raised his voice and said too much food again. Later as he kept passing our table, he jokingly nudged the person and asked if she wanted more pasta. He did this twice, it was not funny but he kept trying to make light of it. Being scolded because you want to order food that you are paying for is ridiculous and it ruined the whole meal and our last night. We didn’t leave in order to be polite, but we should have just left the restaurant. The salad was terrible, “Pear and Pecorino salad” but was a little pear and pecorino and a lot of iceberg lettuce with a little carrot and radicchio. The pasta was fine and the steak was good. We will never come back. There are many better places to eat in Florence.

We made a reservation, arrived and were not even asked the name of the reservation. They assumed we were foreign - I am Italian, my girlfriend not.. we were consistently ignored, when we weren’t being ignored, we requested water 4 times and was never delivered. When I asked again the waiter responded in English with quite an attitude.. we were nothing but shocked.. we stood up and left before even eating… they are rude here especially to foreigners I assume. I understand there are many foreigners which can be irritating.. but being so blatantly rude was a shock..

Wonderful food. Gorgeous and intimate space. The service was excellent. Our server was incredibly helpful with food and wine recommendations. We had a wonderful meal and would definitely highly recommend.
