6/10Didn't live up to the expectations. Some courses were a hit, others a miss. It's a pity. Good service, but not very cosy (old fashioned design). The white house wine (not on the wine list) was cheap, but not very good.

9.5/10We took the tasting menu, it was delicious and probably one of the best value for money tasting menus we’ve ever eaten. Excellent service as well. The fish was very fresh and it was a very pleasant meal.

9.5/10My husband and I loved our meal here. Everything we had was great but our favorite was the fish of the day. Unique flavors that blended perfectly together. Would definitely eat here again.

9.5/10The food was EXCELLENT. Its a small, simply decorated restaurant. The service is exceptional. Its not cheap, but we wanted fine dining and we got it. I highly recommend this establishment.

10/10Ai Fiori is a charming little restaurant in a very pleasant neighborhood. The hostess and owner of the restaurant makes very good recommendations which I was wise enough to follow both for food (fish) and choice of wine, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. In fact, the experience on the first evening was so convincing that I have returned the next evening and this time taking advantage of the offer to pre-order fish for the next day, which the owner bought on the fish-market the next morning for me. I will definitely return to Ai Fiori next time that I come to Trieste.

10/10WHAT an elegant space! Almost as elegant as the food. Staff were efficient and attentive. Wine list extensive. My sea bass, enveloped in nori, was delicious. My husband's linguini with clams was equally as delicious. We applaud the efforts of this fine establishment. We'll be back next time we're in Trieste.

5.5/10We wanted a fancy Dinner for our Last night in Triest. And the Dinner itself was great! Perfect Service, lovely food. But I Had the Risotto with raw Shell and Got a very Bad Case of food poisening. It was a Bad Bad night and I was very dissapointed as it ruined an otherwise lovely evening.

10/10We have visited this restaurant with pleasure quite often over the last few years. Tonight was a particularly excellent dinner for a special occasion. We took the tasting menu with wine pairing and it was truly marvellous! The quality of the fresh seafood and the inventive, finely tuned preparation with delicate sauces that supported rather than covered the primary product made for an exciting culinary evening. Each course was very individual and on it's own a standout dish...but within the menu added to a sense of coherence in the chef's philosophy. The pace of the meal was perfect and the wines were truly well chosen and added to the overall sense of excellence. Kind and attentive service, delightful atmosphere in the garden...value for money too considering all the effort made by the chef, owners and staff. A big thank you and Baccio!

10/10This restaurant is a true gem. Excellent menu with a terrific wine accompaniment for relatively little money. In addition, the warm-hearted service, which left nothing to be desired. Very nice also the guest garden, where almost under trees of the adjacent park can be dined. We will definitely come back!!

10/10Dining alone, I was a bit concerned with how I would be seated. I did not have to worry. I was seated smack in the middle. Other single diners were also well placed. Delicious and original food. Small appetisers were served between dishes. I hope to return before leaving Trieste.

10/10Visited on our first night in Trieste as a bit off the tourist area Excellent restaurant and glad we made a booking as opened at 730pm and full very quickly. Staff did an excellent job given rush hour 730-8pm. Selected the fish whole sea bream from the fish trolley and perfect. Excellent red house wine as well. Highly recommend and nice little wine bar couple of doors away for a drink before or after dinner as well

10/10It was second time to visit this restaurant. All the restaurant workers including the owner looked sincere and hard working. The food was fresh and amazing. This is really great restaurant and my favorite one in Trieste.
