2/10I haven’t had to get up and walk out of a restaurant for many years, but it was exactly what we did last night after 20mins of being a) ignored when covers sat next to us 15mins after we arrived were attended to and b) the incredible attitude of ‘couldn’t give a damn’ when we asked if we could have water and order food. We booked this a month before coming to Florence and very excited to experience it before we were treated like dirt. Each and every experience of other restaurants in Florence have been warm and making us want to go back…..but this is one restaurant we will never cross the doorway again. We will always understand and can see when staff are busy, that is what it is. However rudeness on this level is not acceptable.

7/10Unfortunately we did not enjoy the steak florentine at all. It was tough to cut and did not meet our expectations the complimentary entree and side dish was appreciated and tasty and the service was very good.

8/10I made a reservation asking for a good seat, but the woman at the counter gave me a cramped spot right next to the counter, where it seemed difficult to move around. When I asked to change seats, they did accommodate me, but it felt unfair that they gave me such a bad seat when there were other options available! However, the male waiter who took our order was friendly.

10/10I have been to Florence many times and ate bistecca t bone steak from many restaurants, but today was simply the best. I finished the entire thing by myself and the total with discount from the fork was just 70 euros (including a water).

9.5/10It was easy to make a reservation, we were seated quickly, all questions were answered, and food was very good. The ambience was nice, but the tables were very close together, which is the only thing I can fault. Service was good, and the value for the cost was better than I had expected.
