Trattoria dall’oste was the best place to dine in Florence! The service was great and the food was delicious! We ordered Bisteca Florentina and pasta ; both were excellent! We definitely recommend it !

The food was incredible but the service was even better, Giuseppe probably was the best server I ever see, amazing personality, TOP!! It’s very difficult today to have such a professional server like Giuseppe, KUDOS for him!

7/10During my last visit to Florence, in 2019, we dined at a different branch of Trattoria dall'Oste which we remember as having a higher quality of service. The Fiorentina was very good, as it is expected to be, However, the meal was served with stale bread. When we pointed out that the bread was not fresh, the waiter pretended not to understand our English. I understand that in Florence there is a charge for a carafe of water and a coperto charge, but 4.40 Euros for the water and 4.30 Euros per person for the coperto made the place seem like more of a tourist trap than the sister restaurant on Borgo San Lorenzo from 2019.

9/10classic bistecca alla fiorentina and the beans in tomato sauce as a side dish were fantastic. very friendly and attentive staff, lovely atmosphere. only the bread was rather dry, could be improved.

10/10I came for the beef and it was delicious. I felt a little ripped off by the excessive cover charge of over 4 euro. I know cover charges are common, but this was over the top.

7.5/10Outstanding food. Service was horrible! Waiter failed to explain the menu. He took our order and we never saw him again. Failed to check,on our desired wellness of the steaks. We came for (and paid for) an experience and got a good meal. First time in my life that I left no gratuity.
