Everything was perfect! Was there for our 25th Anniversary. So I had an amazing dinner with my wonderful husband. Food was phenomenal. Service was fantastic. Prices reasonable. It was everything I’d hoped it would be and more. Great find (well thanks to you- tuber, Gregor Brown). His video shared this restaurant and we listened.

celebrating my husband's 70th birthday. Had reservations at 6, but it was raining and they were able to seat us earlier. we started with lasagna followed by the Italian bred steak Florentino with potatoes. Food was very tasty, steak a perfect medium rare and my friend thoroughly enjoyed the bread. I suppose I am not used to the waitstaff in Italy, no one came to ask how we liked or if we needed anything. Florence charges a chair tax of 4,50E per person. Spending over 200euro for dinner, I was surprised to see that.

The restaurant is lovely and the food was very good, though the service was a bit off this time. It took a while to get the seasonings and salad, and the steak sauce arrived midway through the meal. The staff seemed a bit under pressure, maybe due to a busy evening. My daughter’s gnocchi was absolutely perfect, which balanced the experience. We’d be happy to come back on a calmer night

Mushrolm Risotto was quite bland, the steak for about 120 euro was ok... good to try once but would not get again. The grilled veg was also very mid. Tiramisu was the redeeming item.

3/10There is nothing wrong with the table service, it was the hostess. She was very rude, and almost made me leave the restaurant cause she could not find my reservation. I showed her email confirmation that I had from my phone and she brought somebody else over I showed her the same and they still almost made me leave the restaurant. They were not nice at all. The food was subpar.

The place is a fancy - like restaurant but not really that well decorated, more like a fau lux place. The person who served us was really helpful and kind but some of the other staff was "too busy" to deal properly with us, that is why, although we arrived on time, they declared our reservation on The Fork app as "no show". The food was tasteful but the staek was supposed to be 500gr (it was not) and apart from that they served it straight, not even something green to decor the plate or a sauce. For the price range was not worth it.

8/10The store doesn't have any internet connection at all, but when I asked because there was guest Wi-Fi available, I found it too difficult to order. And I was uncomfortable because the server didn't answer the questions and looked unhappy with the expression. However, the food was truly unforgettable.

5.5/10We booked weeks ahead to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. On arrival they were so busy we waited to speak to someone and then once someone became available she said we would have to wait for our table. So we had to wait in the busy street for 20 mins, with my 87 year old father unable to sit down. No apologies. No customer service at all. They only seemed concerned on getting more people through the door - people who clearly had not made reservations as they were given pagers. Food was good but no effort made by the waiter to explain the menu or offer any real service. So disappointing.

The service was really bad. Gentleman server that took over was friendly, but female server was. It good. Signature wild boar pasta was very bland, ask for parm and never received. Filet was poor quality, truffle porcini’s sauce had way too much cornstarch as a thickener, and also bland. Ravioli panchetta dish was the only dish that was very good. Waited over 45 minutes for our steak to come out afree our pasta came out. Overall, this place is WAY overhyped and a tourist trap. Should have known when I stepped in the door.

Our server we had wasn’t the greatest and didn’t even smile. We were too close to the other tables. We were sandwiched to a couple that all they kept doing, was selfies and photos of themselves and their food… Felt no privacy

5/10Big big mistake…. We made the reservation 2 months ago, they made us wait a lot for our table. No Aperol in stock, a few wines from the list also out of stock. The Bistecca alla Fiorentina was decent, about waiter made his best to compensate us, great man! For sure, if you want to visit a nice steak house in Florence, this is not the place. I normally go with my wife to Regina Bistecca…. Amazing place!

4/10Booked at Dall Oste got walked two properties south and the experience was but what we had last year. Weygu steak was not available and the T Bone Florentine was chewy and not tender. What a difference a year makes. Looked forward to repeating a great experience like last year and it just was a disappointment.

2/10After waiting an extra 35 minutes after our original reservation time, we were taken to another restaurant and were told that we would be served the same food, but later on we were told that we had to order from the second restaurant’s menu, which was a pasta specialty! We were told that this restaurant was owned by the same owner and we would be served from the original kitchen!Unfortunately, that was not the case and the steak was the worst start I have had in my whole life! Booking almost a month in advance and confirming twice to have one of the 101 best steaks in the world and getting the worst steak of your life was definitely not something we expected!
