7.5/10We made a reservation at Trattoria and I confirmed with text and email and when we got there we still had to wait 30 mins for our table, we just ordered the steak and a salad which was plenty for us the meat was very good, I am not sure if I would go back when in Florence, but still it was good

Alessio is such a kind and welcoming guy! We truly enjoyed dining at this restaurant. everything was amazing. I came here yesterday and loved it so much that I came back again today. The T-bone steak was incredible, and the ribeye was just as good. Don’t miss the tiramisu. it’s absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this place for great food and warm hospitality.

We decided to book this restaurant because it came highly recommended by a well-known Italian in Korea, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait over an hour for our food. The service throughout the evening was unfriendly and unprofessional — even when we asked simple questions about the dishes, the staff were unhelpful and dismissive. To make matters worse, there was no prior explanation that set menus and wine are excluded from TheFork reservation discount. In the end, we only received a 20% discount on an additional sauce, which felt misleading and unfair. We chose this restaurant to celebrate a special anniversary, but sadly it left us with disappointment instead of a memorable experience.

7.5/10Right opposite the main station. Very friendly staff, but despite a reservation we had to wait on the street for a good 5 minutes (with a glass of presseco, on the house). A good menu, but I went away disappointed. I felt what I had lacked seasoning and taste and was frankly quite bland, perhaps my choices were poor or maybe my taste buds are spoiled as we had fantastic meal the night before else where in Florence and I had high expectations.

3/10Do not recommend. Service was almost nonexistent. It took the server over 30 minutes to get to the table the a first time. Twenty more minutes went by and drink had not arrived at the table. When the food arrived it was just not good, the milanesse was more fat than meat. Of course we were also unable to find the server and had to pay at the entrance with the host.

I originally booked for 2:30 but I was late for 25 minutes. I had emailed The Fork beforehand and asked if they can contact the restaurant to hold my spot or change it for a few minutes later. My international phone card was having trouble contacting them but I did email them of my lateness. I was marked as a no show unfortunately but I rebooked on the spot and got another spot for %30 discount so I’m happy about that. We didn’t get bread with the bistecca steak but the staff seemed so fed up with me and my party, probably for being late and then we didn’t bother to ask them for any. Maybe next time!

We had the florentine steak, the boar meat pasta, and the chicken liver appetizer. All were under flavoured. The steak cut was filled with ligaments and very chewy. I personally found the cooking of the steak fine. Then the liver had no flavour. The boar meat pasta had no salt whatsoever. There were better versions of these dishes we had at other Florence resturants. They also asked for a tip after wards. Our waiter was very friendly. There was a long line so make sure to reserve if you want to come here.

The BEST steak in Florence conveniently located right opposite the train station !! Polite and well mannered staff who are very knowledgeable in the food too ! MUST EAT in Florence !!

4/10We went to this place because of its positive reviews and convenient location near the train station — seemed like a good idea before catching a train or flight. Big mistake. We arrived at 12:00 and didn’t leave until 14:00. There were three of us and we ordered three set menus, but the service was a disaster: they completely forgot about us. No one checked in for long stretches, and when the food finally came, the starters “for three” had only two pieces of each item. How are three people supposed to share that? To make it worse, they didn’t even ask if we wanted fries or salad, which were included in the menu. They just brought one portion of each, with no explanation or choice. And the prices? Outrageous — even for Florence. Definitely not justified by the food quality or the level of service. Very disappointing. If you’re passing through the station, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
